but North knew they weren't ready ….not yet! The Goddens would stay close to their base. They had lost several ships and had heavy damage. The one-hundred-ten ships left behind would not be opposed.
53 None of Morn's ships were even scratched, so picking up the passenger pod that carried his family. Morn headed out from the rendezvous point to leap back for Hades, and keep The Goddens busy elsewhere, too busy to shift any forces to The Peepian sector.
54 North's plan went very smoothly. in agreement with Morn he took The Bread And The Wine as a Speaker, in a very private Ceremony, and North took The Oath Of Obedience. "I surrender," he said, "to The Lords of My Fathers, all that is mine, all that I am, aside from that that I have set aside as inheritance for my children.  I give Them all that I have. From this day forth I have no father, I have no mother, brother, or sister, nor
any children do I call mine. The Lords, alone, are my Parents, and all Their Descendants my Children.
55 I hear no Wisdom other than Theirs. As They served, so do I serve, as They lived, so do I live. I step aside from this world, and today become the Representative of Theirs. By The Blood that I have drank, and The Flesh that I have eaten, so do I swear to protect Their Law and Their Custom, even with my own life."
56 North's children did not quite understand. "Aren't you our father any more?" the youngest asked.
57 "I am not Only YOUR father, now," explained North, "but the father of every child that belongs to The Lords. I must love all of them, now, just as I love you. Just as I taught you that I love each of you the same, I must now love them, and you, the same."
58 "Then I now have ALOT of brothers and sisters!" the little one squealed.
