but it would elude him. Another thing he noticed was that the artillery used against aircraft were the same as used for other purposes. It was slow and clumsy and the gunners had a hard time tracking their targets.
21 It was not long before they had NEW pieces that could swing up and down, and, back and forth with good speed. They also had better shells, few of them now exploded at the wrong altitudes. They sent far less gunners to The Lords.
22 One night, as Gray Boar slept, he dreamed a strange Dream. He saw a young, very pretty girl tending her flocks, singing to them happily. Suddenly, the ground beneath her feet gave way, and she plunged from sight.
23 At the same moment a great boulder near where she had been, rolled over, covering the hole! There was no trace where the girl had gone! A few hours later Gray Boar's Aide awoke him. "Sir!" he announced, "we have received a request for help from a nearby village."
24 "I know," answered Gray Boar. "A young shepherd girl has disappeared while tending her flocks, and they wish us to send some men to help look for her."
25 The Aide looked like he would faint! "Yes, sir!" he agreed , "That's EXACTLY what the man on the phone told me! "
26 As Gray Boar dressed, he gave orders. "I want a truck equipped with a winch, plenty of rope, pulleys, and three long poles, some helmet lights, and flares! Move it!"
27 Barely was he dressed, given a cup of broth, and stepped out the door, than the truck pulled up. He hopped in the cab and they rolled away.
28 For two long hours they climbed into the hills until at last they reached the village and another half hour before they found the spot where the girl had been tending her flock.
29 Even with all the help they had , and the truck to help, moving the stone took another three hours, but finally the hole beneath it could be seen, the poles
