225 Soon, they built fighters that could reach the big bombers, and
went up to meet them. They discovered how to use a radio signal to
detect them as they approached, that took The Children of Spirit some
time to copy. And they, too, could make big bombers. Soon their raids
could come anywhere, protected by their long range fighters.
226 No, The Oneness was far from finished. But Gray Boar left their
fighting to younger men. He was getting old. He and Mountain Glory
wanted more time together. He returned to Northern, and a few months
later Little Gray Boar returned, also, in a hospital plane. His scout
car had hit an enemy mine and Little Gray Boar had lost his left hand,
