Sacred Children almost daily.
7 Mountain Glory had long given up being jealous. Gray Boar would
always say, "I have given you three Sacred Children, that is enough!"
8 It was rumored that Little Gray Boar was not as resistant as his
father, but Sweet Blossom Crow kept most of the suitors away. It was
said that Thundering Boar, though already had more children than could
be counted, if anyone wanted to. His mother often complained of this, and he would jokingly answer that she
shouldn't believe every rumor she heard. And anyway, who was he to
disappoint the people?
9 "That boy is so shameful!" complained his mother.
10 "No he isn't," argued his father, "his mind simply isn't totally
occupied with science, Therefore, he isn't as resistant as someone else
we know."
11 Now Gray Boar was getting very old, but before his time as Speaker
was done, there was one more great case for him to hear. One day a
committee of Speakers came to him.
12 "Lord," they began, "there is a disgusting movement spreading
through the Land led by one Shining Serpent. These people gather in
secluded areas in private clubs, and take off their clothes! They run
around playing games and doing all kinds of unspeakable things. There
have been tales of men and women knowing each other in public, and of
men knowing men and women knowing women."
13 "Do you have witnesses to any of these charges?" asked Gray Boar.
14 "No, Lord," said The Speakers, "but the mere fact that they are
breaking The Law, that men are looking upon naked men and women on naked
women is enough for us to bring charges and to declare that this man
teaches heresy."
