76 "Of course you are!" answered Swift Deer.
"You're very beautiful and seem very nice. It's just my people have
certain beliefs!"
77 "Oh, I know about them!" the woman said. "It's alright. I'm not being
made to do anything. I like you!" Everyone standing around started to laugh.
78 "I like you, too," complimented Swift Deer.
79 The woman returned to the others, and her two friends finally agreed
to come along. They were taken to a side cave that had many doors. At
one of these they stopped. Inside were three large rooms petitioned off
by wooden walls with curtains hung across the entrances. At the far end
was a smaller room with a bathtub. All the rooms were richly furnished.
80 Servants began to enter with buckets of warm water. Others carried
clean clothes. To Swift Deer's surprise he was offered a Warlock's uniform and his men presented with fighting
people's garb. "You wish to bathe first?" asked Swift Deer's beautiful companion.
81 "I suppose so," he agreed, "I'll just take the clean robe for now,
and I'll get dressed later."
82 Mad Cat came over. "No offense," he said, "but there'll be a guard
on the door. They'll also serve as your escort and guide. It's not that we don't trust you, it's for
your protection. The door will not be locked. You may go anywhere you wish within our village." He turned and walked out. The
door shut behind them, and the women immediately began to undo the men's clothes.
83 "Now,wait a minute!" argued Swift Deer.
84 The woman looked at him with a disgusted expression. "I'm not going to
rape you!" she snapped. "You can't take a bath with your clothes on!"
85 Swift Deer smiled and the woman smiled back.
