219 It was decided that the new city would be
called Bandit, in honor of its beginning. It soon thrived. The Hawk
built his canals in Tr, and the city at their entrance, was named after
him.
220 Now, The Land of Spirit fell into a great period of peace. Except
for the usual bandit raids, and a little trouble with Hoods now and
again, The Land prospered; the people were happy.
221 The Hawk's children grew wise and strong. Little Newt went
everywhere with his father, and sat by his seat of Judgment in The
Speaker's Hall whenever he heard the cases, learning his father's
Wisdom.
222 While he was still a young man, two cases came before The Hawk that
were the greatest of his lifetime.
