46 Those in the temple rose in anger. "Blasphemy!" they cried,
"Sacrilege! He claims to be the Most High! Stone him!"
47 They went to seize him, but he walked through their very midst, and
no one could see him. As he was leaving the temple, an old man cried
out, "If you are The Promised One, heal my boils!"
48 The young man called behind him, "WHAT boils?"" And the old man
lifted his sleeve to show the sores he had had for years, but there
were no sores!
49 "It is sorcery! It is tricks, like The Children of Lies!" But the
man walked on, ignoring them. He came back to his house. His father,
mother, his brothers and sisters were by the door. He took his staff
and his cloak.
50 "From this day forth," he told his mother, "look for me not. And
when you hear that I am gone, do not weep for me, for I have fulfilled

52 "One tear," he answered, "and one tear alone. I will have you shed
no more. For this body I wear is but a shadow and when I put it off, I
will go to that Place of Glory, I will prepare for you a mansion like
none can dream. You shall be made Queen of The Heavens, and be given
dominion over the stars." He turned to his stepfather. "And you shall
be her chamberlain, and none, save I, shall surpass you in honor."
