54 "Who are you," cried The High Priest, "to change ancient and sacred

55 "It is my right," answered The Young Teacher, "to say what should

57 "Do you not know," answered The Teacher, "that The Father and I are
one? That I am Him, and He is me?"
58 "I think perhaps you deceive us," commented The Priest. "I think you
are neither the Son nor, The Father, but a powerful and clever demon.
But I am not fool enough to challenge you. The time will come when you
will bring yourself down. For I, too, understand the meaning of The
Prophecy. If you fulfill it, you will earn my worship. We shall wait
and see!"
