cities to protect them.
53 The people here no longer called themselves The Children of The
One, but called themselves The Children of The Oneness. And their
symbol was the circle with the cross inside.
54 Now, those worshipers of The One that had fled to The Land of Spirit
still called themselves The Children of The One, and their symbol was
the golden circle WITHOUT the cross.
55 The Children of Spirit welcomed them, took pity on their plight, and
gave them two tracts of land, one on the west side of the canals, which
The Hawk had built, and the survivors of Lot settled here, for they
were a people used to canals. Here they made villages and
prospered.
56 The other tract of land was in The Wilderness on the Northern Road
between New and Min. Here, the people of Lof settled, for it was like
their
own homeland, and they were happy. They, too, prospered. They were
always friends with The People of Spirit, always helped them defend
their Land, and were at peace with them for all time.
