27 Come. I will take you to my room for awhile, then I must go and find your mate. This must be dealt with, and quickly! A woman cannot be driven out of her own house."
28 A few hours later Shy Fox found Red Cat in an ale house. He was pretty drunk. Shy Fox pulled him aside, shook him, and spoke in his ear. "You've got to come home immediately, your first mate came into the bathroom after Thorn Blossom was taking a bath and tried to be a man to her. She's at my house now, thinking she did something wrong. Your first mate is a lover of women."
29 Red Cat looked at him, put his hand on his shoulder, and shook his head. "She did WHAT?" he groaned, "She's WHAT?"
30 When Shy Fox started to speak again, Red Cat stopped him, and motioned him to follow.  Red Cat went outside, stuck his head in an ox trough. The cold water seemed to bring back his senses. "Now tell me again," he insisted, "though I don't think I want to hear what you said."
31 Shy Fox told him the whole story. "No wonder I can't keep a maid!" groaned Red Cat.  "And that's what that girl meant awhile back, when she said she didn't know who the man was in my house! Well, I'm not going to have this! When we were first mated, that woman was fun. We did a lot of crazy things. But then she started to change, stopped paying attention to me, began to spend a lot of time with her lady friends. That's when I started going to the houses of pleasure.
