heavy with child. How could he fight battles under these conditions? He
discussed these things with his Warlocks, and they were all for heading

60 "Now, wait a minute! " argued Shining Blossom, "we women have a say
in this! Take a look at that sky. There's dust starting to blow already. Marching north even
though we have plenty of water is going to be hard on these little
ones, and , these burdened women. We know Fin is safe, and we have the
means to reach it, and to do some good when we get there.
61 Just because we are with you, does not mean that you must abandon
the battle. WE say fight through to Fin, get them these rifles and
ammunition, and maybe kill some of the enemy on the way. Then, you can
send ox carts back for the rest of this stuff and just maybe we can
start hurting these sons of The Oneness like they have been hurting us.
62 Remember, we left five and ten of our people in that rubble back
there. Some of the babies in these women's bodies will never see their
fathers. This HAS GOT TO STOP!"
63 Sorrowful Dove stood up. "You heard the lady!" he ordered, "Let's
start packing this stuff up to that hill and burying it!"
64 They were just about finished when a scout brought word. "The
enemy," he cried, "they're waiting down the river...HUNDREDS of them!
They followed us. They're almost to the boats already!"
65 "And we're up here!" cried Sorrowful Dove, "while our women and
children are down there! Let's go!”
66 As they hurried to the beach they heard the
