stood at attention. "You have some cannon that belongs to this man. I want them delivered to him within the hour. I also want every one of his steamships armed with whatever pieces he wants within the next week."
17 "But sir," the Harbor Warlock argued, "but, sir... "
18 "NO BUTS!" snapped Bold Fox. "Get those cannon DOWN TO HIS SHIP, NOW!"
19 "Yes, sir," the man said, "Yes, sir! They're on their way! They're on their way!"
20 Little Turtle looked up at Bold Fox. "What's your name?" he asked.
21 "Bold Fox," the other answered.
22 "I'm going to name my new ship after you!" the little man cried. "Want to come see her?"
23 Bold Fox laughed. "Sure I would!" he agreed.
24 They went back down to the harbor. This ship being built would be another iron clad, but to Bold Fox's surprise it had no paddle wheels! "How does it go?" he asked.
25 "A marvelous invention of a Witch named Silver Crow. He invented it for small boats and operated it by pulling a lever back and forth.
But with a steam engine to power them they'll work much better! They're called 'propellers.'" Little Turtle announced.
26 Bold Fox looked at the strange things. They looked like four sword blades flattened out and tilted at an angle. "I don't doubt you," he
sighed, "but I'll have to see it work to believe it."
27 "That will take about four weeks," announced Little Turtle. "Let's get down to the Iron Turtle. The cannon must be there by now, and I want
