Chapter Six

They watched a couple of shows on the t.v. then Bullet excused himself and went to bed. He knew he'd been given an invitation, but he wasn't quite ready to be that close to the lady, yet.
2 During the night he heard his door open and felt her get into bed with him. She just snuggled up against him and went to sleep. In the morning he got up before she did, showered, dressed, had some breakfast before she came out. She looked sad, but quickly started up a pleasant conversation.
3 Bullet continued training The Young Speaker's Guards and after mid-meal Sweet Blossom approached him. "I have to go somewhere," she remarked, "would you mind accompanying me?"
4 "As long as you're not going shopping," agreed Bullet, "Shopping with my mother is one of the few things I can't abide."
5 "I'm not going shopping," answered Sweet Blossom. She called her Driver, he got the car and they drove out of the city. When they came to a beautiful cemetery on a pleasant country road, they turned off.
6 The Driver stopped in the parking places near some of the crypts. "I'll wait here, ma'am," he requested, "if you don't mind."
7 "It's alright," agreed Sweet Blossom. Bullet opened the door for her, and followed her as she made her way up the hill, entering a beautiful little crypt. The inner walls were full, and containers had been erected in the middle for more urns. These too, were almost full.
8 She stopped at three near the door, and put her hands on them. "I should be here," she whispered, "I should be here with them." Her voice was barely audible as she fought back tears. "Why did I forget my note? Why did I start back for the house? Why did They take them, and let me live? WHY? WHY?"
