went in behind them. Smiling Fox was putting the man in one of the toilet booths.
"What did you do?" asked Bullet.
"Gave him a shot of bye-bye," Smiling Fox giggled. "He'll be out for hours! They'll think he came in here, blacked out, and someone put him somewhere to sleep it off."
The man's coat hung open and Bullet noticed a flash of gold. He reached down and pulled the key from the man's belt. "We know what's upstairs," suggested Bullet, "let's find out what's downstairs."
They shut the booth door and while Bullet watched to make sure no one heard, Smiling Fox called two more men in from outside. As soon as they arrived they all slipped behind the partition. Bullet and Smiling Fox stepped inside. They found a guard sitting at a desk waiting for them. "May I see your keys, gentlemen?" he asked.
Bullet showed him the key. "He doesn't have one," he announced, "he's with me, the manager approved it."
"One moment," objected the guard. "I'll have to check on that." He turned to pick up the phone, and Bullet hit him. The man stood for a moment with a surprised look, then went down. Smiling Fox opened the door and let the other two men in. Bullet found the button that opened the inner door, and went through. There was a long hall with many doors, a stairway was at the end of the hall.
He noticed all the doors had no handle except one. He opened it. It was a large storeroom. Going back out, he grabbed one of the men. "Tie him up," he ordered, "put him in there. Then, stay here. Grab anybody that tries to enter or leave. They can keep him company!"
Bullet and Smiling Fox started down the hall.
