147 As he reached for the knob the man took his hand. "You know your mother's orders!" he snapped. "No television until after supper and especially not until your homework is finished!"
148 The boy jerked his hand away. "Keep your slimy hands off me, prim," he screamed, "you don't tell me what to do! You're not my father, and I'm old enough to decide when and how. I'll do what I want!"
149 "As long as you're in this house, young man, you do what your mother tells you to! Now move! I'm still enough of a man to handle you!"
150 Angrily the boy picked up his books. "At least I can still do it standing up, and I don't have to sleep with a woman who's as cold as a piece of ice."
151 The girl, who had been standing by listening, burst into tears. "Red!" she screamed, "You're a rat, a dirty, stinking, slimy rat!" She ran off towards her room, and her brother followed.
152 The prisoner reached up and undid his belt. "Sorry you have to see this," he said, "but it has to be taken care of here and now."
153 "Do you have permission?" inquired Bullet. The man nodded. "That prison issue is pretty thin and narrow," commented Bullet, taking off his own belt. "This one will make a more lasting impression!" He threw it to the prisoner and the man smiled, then disappeared down
the hall.
154 There was a loud "Get away from me, you pervert! " then, a considerable amount of screaming. When the prisoner returned, he tossed Bullet his belt. "Either I'm going to kill that boy," he growled, "or straighten him out! I don't mind him saying things about me, but DAMNED if he'll insult his mother!"
155 He went back to the kitchen and opened the oven,
