sat back in the seat.
19 "I take it," remarked Bullet, "you've got some kind of plan."
20 Red Crow nodded. "Tomorrow morning," he explained, "we plan to get
as many people out of the city as we can, under cover of the rush hour.
The rest we plan to send to the shelters. Then, we're going to hit them
with our helicopters, and try to blow the top off the building.
21 But if we could get some heavy pieces in range we could pin them
down until the copters got in range. If there was only some way of
convincing them that the National and World troops were arriving."
22 As they reached Red Crow's Headquarters an Aide rushed up. "Sir!" he
exclaimed, "I've got it! I've got it!"
23 "You've got what?" snapped Red Crow.
24 "A plan! A plan to make the perverts think the city's under attack.
There's a movie crew down south of us making a war movie. They've got
everything ....planes, tanks, helicopters, the works! If we could lend
them some more equipment, they could stage a phony attack like you
wouldn't believe!"
25 Red Crow stopped and looked at the man, then turned and looked at
Bullet. "What do you think?" he asked.
26 "If ANYBODY could pull it off," agreed Bullet, "THEY could! A
brilliant idea, young man! How did you know about the film crew, and
that they'd help us?"
27 The young man smiled. "My father's directing the film!" he answered.
"He's the one who called me, and suggested the idea. They're already
setting up."
28 "Give him our thanks! " ordered Red Crow. "Tell the supply office to
get in touch with them. I want them given anything they want.
29 The attack should come a little while after dawn, tomorrow, after
the evacuation is almost complete. It will distract them from the
evacuation, and if we are lucky, maybe they'll let us bring our rockets
and batteries onto
