The car lost control, smashed through the guard
rails, and went down a deep ditch. The young man ran over, jumped down
the ditch, pulled the girl from the car, and barely got her up over the
bank before the car exploded!
28 ''I was pretty banged up," the girl explained, "even though I had my
seatbelt on. I'd have never made it, myself. It will be a long time
before I forget this man!"
29 The Foreman of the factory, who it turned out was the woman's
father, guaranteed the young man would have a job. From the way the
woman was looking at the man in the photograph, he would probably have
more than a job, thought Bullet! Suddenly the face in the picture
flashed in his mind. He knew who it was, and began to laugh! "Well, I
wonder how he feels about being a man now?" he said aloud. He put the
paper down. "Yes, I think he'll make something of himself. If HE won't,
that woman will.”
30 Bullet laid back and finally went to sleep. But his dreams were
troubled. He walked through shattered ruins and saw burned and charred
bodies. He saw his people being led away in chains. He saw a strange
flag flying over his homeland, and shadowy, winged beings filling the
sky.
31 A Voice spoke to him, saying, "Those who surrender first, shall die.
Those who fight to the end shall live. But though the flesh can be
conquered, the Eternal Spirit cannot.
32 No matter what is done to a slave, they are free, as long as their
Eternal Spirit is free. Their bondage shall not be forever, but only
for five-hundred comings of the rain.
33 Then, shall one come who shall break the chains, and set his people
free. He shall be of The Lord of Our Masters and The Sweetest of Our
Blossoms. He will be called The First Light, The Glorious Morning, The
New Dawn.
34 Write down these things you have seen. Tell the people of your Dream
so when The Winged Ones come they will not be afraid, for by their
courage shall they live."
