31 The manager of the radio factory and
his staff were watched for several weeks, until every bit of their
operation was traced. Then The Young Speaker's followers moved in.
Those who confessed were taken to a secret prison. Those who did not,
lost their heads on their own doorstep.
32 The local officials were outraged.
"How dare these people take The Law into their own hands?" They
arrested many and questioned them, but being unable to prove anything were forced to release them. Their anger
was not really because the people had taken The Law into their own
hands, but because they had lost the major source of their bribes. Many
of the city officials went bankrupt, their illegal income gone.
