"I'll testify to that!"  Renfield answered.  "I was with them when they went into the holding area and invited the young men to the festivities.  Some of them chose not to go, and the older men were disappointed they weren't invited.  The guards will testify to that, also."
"Then I will dismiss the complaint," Young remarked, "I don't know if you should've asked me first or not, I don't know if I would have wanted you to.  If somebody wants to make a problem about it later, they can.  But I don't have a problem with it!  Dismissed!"
All the troops saluted, snapped "Thank you, ma'am!" and departed.
"Youth!"  Warlock Young muttered,  "Youth!  But what in the hell can you say?  They're not going to get to be old.  They've got to pack a lot of experiences into the little time they have.  Who in the hell can blame them?"
The evacuation continued calmly and steadily.  There were a few incidences.  Some families did not want their daughters leaving with some of the men, but Young would not return any that did not want to be returned.  Some wives refused to leave with their husbands, and she would not force them to go.  FInally they readied the last convoy.  Young stood facing the President.  "Well, it's your country again!"  she remarked.  "Don't bother us, we won't bother you.  If you use any of our buildings you pay us rent.  It's our property.  If you don't, we'll blockade this country tight, until you start seeing reason.  And you will make a payment every year until the debt for this operation is paid, even if it takes a thousand years!"
The President shook his head.  "You have murdered our people," he answered, "murdered children because they obeyed their parents and destroyed their peoples' enemies.  You have stolen what is ours.  I will be petitioning The World Courts for the return of the islands you now hold against our wishes.  We will have our territory back! This is not over, Warlock!"
"It is as far as we're concerned!" Young answered.  "Just remember if you wanna make more trouble we're perfectly capable of dealing with it!  But if you leave us in peace, we'll leave you in peace.  Good bye, Mr. President!  Enjoy your country...what's left of it!"
Young got in her vehicle and drove off.  The President of Mozambique watched her go with an angry expression.  "Next time!" he muttered, "Next time!"
