The Warlock sighed. "I'm going to send you to the dump with the others," she managed. "You will recover the bodies by digging through the trash with your own hands, including your wives and children. You will give us the address where these young men are being held, and you'd better pray they're unharmed because I don't know if they are, if I can keep my promise."
She called in the other officers. Everybody was quickly dispatched. To everyone's relief the young men were found, bruised and humiliated, but alive. That afternoon Warlock Young stood beside Warlock Renfield as they surveyed the commander's house.
"I don't want to heavily bombard this place," Young explained, "I hope to take out the heavy weapons with laser guided munitions, but there's at least forty well armed people in there. I want as many of them alive as possible. Can your unit take that place?"
"It's going to be rough," Renfield remarked. "They've got good positions. We're going to lose people, there's no question of it, but that's what we're for. We can take it! Midnight?"
"No," the Warlock answered. "That's too predictable. 3 a.m.."
Young decided to bed down. She could get a fairly good sleep before 3 a.m., and she wanted to be there. Though this is what death troops were for, she hated using them, sending people into such dangerous situations without full support. But this is what the death troops were for, and she would use all her resources to their full potential.
She slept well, got up, showered and dressed, and got out to the jump off point just before 3 a.m.. She walked through the ranks blessing each fighting person, then watched them load up and their helicopters lift off. She couldn't see much, but for a good ten minutes they could all hear the exchange of fire, then, all became quiet. The radio operator put his hand to his ear and smiled. "They got them, ma'am!" he cried, "They got all the girls! They're alive! And they captured the commander. Minimum casualties, ma'am. They lost only twenty people."
"Yes!" the radio man answered, "Yes, ma'am!"
