"Agreed!" the judge answered. "I am tired of this also. All members of the aggrieved party will STOP calling those in disagreement with them thieves. Is that understood?"
"Go to hell!" Phil answered.
"What young lady?" the judge screamed.
"I said go to hell!" Phil repeated.
"That's IT!" the judge screamed. "I'm charging you with contempt of court, young lady, ordering you held for trial."
"Your honor," Longbow snapped, "This is not an official session and we are here in duress. You MAY NOT charge us with contempt. You, yourself declared this an informal gathering!"
The judge looked at him with fire in his eyes, but then nodded. "Quite right!" he agreed. "I did declare this an informal gathering. My apologies. You may ALL leave, seems we are wasting our time and I want that phone number, sir. Go on! Get out of here!"
"Oh!" Phil sighed. "I can leave? The sheriff isn't going to carry me home?"
Everyone snickered and the judge roared. "Get out of my chambers!"
Everyone quickly departed. A crowd of reporters was gathered outside the courthouse. They asked Phil how she felt about the way she had been brought there. "I really rather enjoyed it!" she answered. "It was kind of fun!"
Everyone laughed. Her limo pulled up. The sheriff was watching her, but then he saw something reflected in the puddle under the car, and his heart leaped up into his throat. :"Get away from that car!" he screamed, "Everybody BACK! Driver, get out! Get away from it, now!" With a nod from Phil everyone quickly obeyed.
