Back with more of what’s in the news because it’s really hoppin’ out there! God The Father is really kicking butt, so to speak, letting the former Pope know He’s not happy with him! Shortly after he got to his new retirement home, so to speak, a mild earthquake struck Rome and Castel Gandolfo, his temporary new home. Some are asking if this was a divine message. Well, I’d definitely say so!
Speaking of this, remember the other day in my message where I mentioned the British cardinal who was resigning because of charges of misconduct, and wouldn’t be attending the conclave of cardinals who will pick Benedict’s successor? What did I say? Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! And sure enough, I was right again! He has admitted to sexual misconduct and issued a statement saying that his sexual conduct has been below standards expected of him in his various religious jobs. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t right. His poor victims! But I’m so glad he’s going to be out of there! Hopefully he won’t continue his sexual practices elsewhere.
There’s talk that New York Cardinal Dolan may become the next Pope. I saw him on Sixty Minutes or such a few years ago. I liked him even though I’m not sure his stand on some of the issues. I hope they pick him. With my luck he’s one of the worst pedophiles. God forbid! The Catholic Church doesn’t need another one in high office!
It makes me so mad Obama wouldn’t come to a deal concerning the sequester cuts. All I can think of is Obama is like a little spoiled brat stomping his foot and saying “I’m going to get my way no matter what happens!” Well, now he has and we all have to pay for it.
What a horrible thing about the Florida sink hole swallowing that young man and his bed up in the middle of the night? I feel so bad for him and his brother who tried to rescue him and almost got pulled down too. It’s pretty bad sometimes when real life imitates science fiction. This seems like a plot for an episode from my favorite t.v. series “Doctor Who.” Unfortunately The Doctor won’t be showing up and rescuing him. I recall when Gerald & I lived in Orlando, they had terrible trouble with sink holes even then. I hope everyone in the neighboring home which has also been condemned because of the possibility of the same happening there, gets their stuff out without further incident. I, for one, never want to go back there.
Looks like The UK’s Queen Elizabeth is in the hospital because she’s had that stomach flu going around now, and is dehydrated, like Hillary was. Even The Queen can’t escape Mother Nature. We might not agree on everything, but I hope she gets well soon.
Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has visited North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, and brings back a message from him saying he doesn’t want war and wants Obama to call him. Good luck with that!Obama seems to bring negativity and destruction to other countries when it’s none of his business to interfere with them.
Danica Patrick finished 8th in The Daytona 500 with her pole position, but she has done wonders for her sponsor Go Daddy.com who is also my web site host and highly recommended. Everyone is praising her for her efforts! Congratulations all around. I think we’ll be seeing lots more from her.
Well, one of my favorite actors, Charlie Sheen, has given Lindsey Lohan a lot of money. He’s lent her money to pay her back taxes and she will be on an episode of his new show “Anger Management.” During an interview with TMZ he explained he’s trying to help her, says she needs a mentor whether she wants one or not. He says there’s no romantic involvement with her. He loves her and respects her, but hasn’t laid a hand on her, just in the movies. He asks “How do ya like me now, America?” I say I love ya Charlie! I’m proud of you for giving up the bad stuff. Keep up the good work! I still intend to check out his show on Video On Demand.
