There’s a lot going on in the world and I just had to come back today to comment on it! I see that one of God’s favorite people Hank Williams Jr. is in trouble again for telling it like it is about Obama. More power to him! I remember well the last time he spoke out he got in trouble for saying Obama was like Hitler. So my late husband Gerald wrote this song for him. Here’s the link to the video of it on You Tube. Of course the sentiments are still the same today.

Well, it’s The Democrats turn to have their big convention. I’m not even going to watch. Hey, I didn’t watch The Republican Convention either! Why bother to waste my time on two losers? I’m not even going to vote this year. Hopefully whatever the outcome the world will still be around for a long, long time.
Not surprised to read that The Democrats have decided not to use the word God at their convention, or the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. This is after four years of saying it is. I believe this is to show they’re different from the Republican conservatives. Romney says this decision is distancing the U.S. from Israel, its ally. I agree. These actions are causing much criticism from The Republicans, as they should. Also, they’re seeking a two state peace agreement. There’s only one peace plan that will work, Father Abraham’s peace proposal, which includes a separate homeland for The Palestinians outside of Israel. Hopefully some day they’ll learn this is the only way to true peace in The Middle East.
So sad to see Bob Barker who hosted The Price Is Right for 35 years wasn’t invited to be in the 40th anniversary special! He thinks he was omitted from the show because he has been critical of them giving away prizes which he considers inappropriate. He got to watch clips of the show and that’s it! What is the world coming to? When stuff like this happens who needs to even ask?
It’s almost the anniversary of 9/11 once again. Some of the relatives of the victims are complaining about how tourists are acting at the memorial in New York. They’re offended by them acting like it’s a “Disney attraction.” They’re very happy. There are rules of decorum pointed out to visitors when they arrive, they do try to enforce them as junior high students have been booted out for putting trash in the reflecting pool, and so forth. Editors of The New York Observer comment that the site isn’t supposed to be treated like a cemetery. People should be able to relax with their children there, just like they do at other memorials. I’m sure the victims in The Afterlife do not object with families having picnics there, as long as they keep things neat and clean.
I’m very relieved to hear that Michael Jackson’s relatives won’t let his kids hang out with Miley Cyrus because of all the questionable things she’s done recently. I hope they continue listening to him and God concerning this matter.
You know things are getting really bad when some Kotex tampons that were rejected by the parent company as they failed inspection and are a possible health risk if they’re used were stolen and sold to the public! This was in Dallas, Texas. These items were scheduled to be destroyed between October, 2,011 and June, 2,012. The company is putting a warning out, are encouraged to check for affected lot codes and will get a full refund if they contact the company. My question would be why were these sitting around for so long in the first place? Like the old saying goes, some people will do anything for money! I hope they throw the book at them.
Recently my friend Elgard sent me an article concerning a horrible story about a liver that was donated by someone for transplant being thrown away by hospital personnel by mistake. The liver was recovered but they couldn’t revive it for use. I hope the person waiting for the transplant was helped soon after all. Something needs to be done so these things don’t happen again.The hospital in question is being investigated for proper sanitary environment and working conditions. Things like this just make you shake your head and wonder what other upsetting things can happen even under the proper conditions.
