Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!  It’s good to be back to work again here.  Let’s get right down to business with the national news.
I was shocked to read the other day that many of his fans are mad because one of God’s favorite country singers, Toby Keith, put a sign on the door of his own restaurant in Virginia saying that no guns were allowed there.  What’s this world coming to?  He owns the place, he has a right to say what he does and doesn’t allow in it.  Can’t people understand that? I guess not.
I was also disgusted to read that Robin Roberts, who has been on the ABC’s “Good Morning America” for years and recently had leave due to serious illness, has said on Facebook that she’s gay.  She’s someone I would’ve never expected this from.  I’m sure The Afterlife has known about it all along.
God’s praise and blessings to the people of Utah who are standing up and fighting against their state legalizing gay marriage. Apparently a judge struck down the ban on same sex ‘marriage’ and voters don’t like that one little bit!  Basically the judge took voters’ rights away!  They’re appealing his decision in The U.S. Supreme Court! They’ve reminded The U.S. Supreme Court that it’s also up to individual states to decide rather they want this insanity legal there, and they most certainly do not!  900 gay couples have been married since the ban was removed.  The judge states that the ban violates gays couples’ right to equal treatment under the law.  Justice Sonia Sotomayor will either make the decision on this matter herself or get the help of the rest of the court.  I’m keeping a special eye on this story and praying Utah succeeds in getting their rights back. Prayers are being sent out to them that they succeed.  Let’s hope a decision is made soon and in the voters’ favor.
Considering these events, here’s a link to  a song I channeled from The Afterlife some years ago for The Mormons.  Unfortunately just the lyrics are available right now.  Maybe I’ll remedy that soon. During the last elections it was the battle song for a spiritual choir made up of people from Utah who were encouraging people there in the material world to support Gerald’s presidential election campaign as music is our best weapon against the creatures of Darkness.

I’m getting fed up with this bull!  First Obama told people that with Obamacare they could keep their current insurance companies, then they found out he lied.  Now a judge says it doesn’t matter how people voted, when it was all legal and above board and changes the law just because he wants to.  I don’t like the way things are going, I don’t like it at all!
Sad to read that former first lady Barbara Bush has been hospitalized with a respiratory related issue in Houston.  Hope she gets well soon despite the little problem she had with God because all her family backed Obama in the last Presidential Election. She was one of God’s special children from another lifetime.
Lastly in entertainment news I must say, I was actually impressed by the little demon Miley Cyrus’ performance on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2014” special. She was on just before midnight, was actually dressed in a decent outfit (I loved the white fake fur full length coat!) and she sang the “Wrecking Ball” song perfectly.  I like the way she was in awe over everything going on.  At one point she almost broke down crying. I can’t stand her personally, but I must say her songs are actually good.  It’s too bad she’s headed down the wrong path.
Here’s another one.  Justin Bieber supposedly resigned on Twitter before Christmas. I saw the tweet myself and retweeteed it.  Then he tweeted he would always be there for his fans.  I don’t know what’s actually going on with this.  I know he is selling perfume now and who knows what else under his name.  As usual, like last year, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Congrats to The BBC for an amazing job putting together the Doctor Who Christmas Special, “The Time Of The Doctor.”  I loved it.  Our lights were out earlier that day for a half an hour due to a recent ice storm, however fortunately I was able to watch the show that night.   My internet was off for a day or so.  It came back then went again. So glad that’s over here. It’s terrible, many, many people here in Maine are still without electricity.  Power companies are being saluted for working on Christmas to get things running again.  Some came from out of state to help.
I had a wonderful New Year’s Eve.  Visited with neighbors who prepared an awesome supper and just sat around and talked watching music DVDs.  Hung out til 9 pm  then came home and watched the ball drop.  New Year’s Day after bingo at Burger King I watched most of the Rose Parade for the first time in years.   Fortunately I missed the gay marriage ceremony that was featured in it.  Why do they want to force this sickness on us, especially the innocent children that were watching?  It was -4 degrees here in Ellsworth, Maine!  Expecting another huge snowstorm this weekend, and the coldest temps yet until then.  I’m glad I don’t have to go out until next week!  A final update; I have a consultation with yet another new doctor on the 16th who is going to remove the skin cancer from my nose.  I’ll be glad when this is over with.  Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday!
Gerald wrote a story that’s perfect to read this time of year, “Trail Blockers”. Here’s the link. Hope you’ll check it out and pass it on.
