Finally back with another news update. Stuff just started happening important to write about again. It’s been so hot here I haven’t gotten much done. Still editing The Book of course.
First I suggest everyone boycott Rolling Stone Magazine for their cover of the Boston Marathon Bomber who’s now of course in jail. I agree with others who commented the article should’ve been about the first responders instead of him. It’s kind of like they’re supporting terrorism.
Kudos once again to Speaker John Boehner who had a great interview Sunday on CBS’ “Face The Nation” concerning immigration reform. He wouldn’t give his on opinion on the issue, but says the bill passed by the Senate is too big. It doesn’t go into border protection enough. He says the House would deal with immigration reform in segments rather than a “comprehensive bill.” Speaker Boehner also says that this is not about him, if he gave his opinion it would be making his job harder. He is just there “to facilitate a discussion and a process so the American people can see what we’re doing and so the members understand what we’re dealing with this in a deliberative way.” He is doing things the right way. Blessings always to one of God’s favorite sons, though of course we don’t share the same opinions on some issues. May he continue to do well.
The people at Illinois Family Institute are bringing up an excellent point. I believe Gerald mentioned this topic a few times also. “Could same sex parenting be considered a form of child abuse?” I say yes. They sent a great article. It states that several children who were raised by same sex couples feel they were deprived of having a father or mother like other kids have and it was unfair. One woman who was says most of these children will never state their feelings about this openly. Most people who support same sex marriage never consider this possibility. Thank you IFI for bringing this to the public’s attention. A most important topic. Now if most of the people at the IFI weren’t anti abortionists…
It’s official! My old friend from a past lifetime, Kate Middleton, The Duchess Of Cambridge has been admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington in labor with her first child. It’s said she’s having a natural birth. I predict it will be a girl. We’ll have to wait and see. It shouldn’t be long now. (See FOOTNOTE below.)
A friend sent me the link to this video. It’s the song and lyrics of “There You’ll Be” sung by Faith Hill. I’ve never heard it before and it brought me to tears. It describes exactly how I feel about my late husband Gerald. I just had to pass it on.

FOOTNOTE: Congratulations To Kate Middleton and Prince William! They are now the parents of a son born at 4:24 pm. My prediction was wrong! Which goes to show I should stick to the song channeling and not do predictions!
