I had an amazing day Tuesday! I had a couple of errands to run downtown. The weather was beautiful so I decided to walk. When I got done at the credit union and was headed for the library via a short cut Gerald taught me about, just a side street, I realized I was hungry and wanted some ice cream where I’d already had lunch. I was wondering if the restaurant I like to go to down there had any. Then I heard Gerald say from The Afterlife, “If you go down this street right here I think there’s a little ice cream store you’d like.” I didn’t remember it was there. I stood there debating a minute and he said “”Well, if you don’t trust me, it’s up to you what you do.” I did it and ta da! Just a few steps around the corner was Mortons Moo, an awesome home made ice cream restaurant! I went in and ordered my first hot fudge sundae in ages, made with peanut butter cup ice cream, lots of whipped cream and a cherry on top! Here’s a pic I took for posterity at Instagram.

They definitely have a permanent customer. I plan to walk down town at least once a month so I will go there. When I don’t go somewhere for lunch anyway. I highly recommend this great place.
How amazing the work of God’s Forces getting the three women and the little girl who have been held prisoner for ten years out of the sexual predator’s house in Ohio! Blessings to the two men who rescued them! Somehow I think Gerald was in on helping with this one. Now the kidnapper’s daughter has disowned him. She thought there was something wrong going on when she was a kid but of course couldn’t figure out what. Prayers to her and the other young ladies.
Also now in Bangladesh after 17 days a young woman was rescued from the factory collapse where 1,000 workers have been found dead! Allah has certainly blessed her! Her only injuries are hunger and dehydration! Definitely mind boggling!
I hate to say it but we told ya so! So called psychic Sylvia Browne told Amanda Berry’s mother in 2004 after her kidnapping that she was dead on “The Montel Williams Show.” We’ve said for years after being sent one of her books to review that she was a fake and most of what we read was crap. Here’s proof! Though it’s true, even real psychics are wrong sometimes this lady is an epic fail! I’m so glad she was wrong, so very very glad! Footnote. I never cared for Montel Williams because of his open promotion of medical marijuana.
Looks like there may be more justice done soon. The Karl Rove linked American Crossroads group is going after Hillary Clinton concerning the Benghazi disaster. I hope his Super Pac can get justice in this apparent cover up. Hillary claims the anti Muslim video on the internet that caused so much violence at the time for this incident, despite being informed that it was a terrorist group associated with Al Quaida that committed this crime. When asked why the truth was not being told Hillary’s chief of staff told people not to talk to congress about it. Hillary said “What difference at this point does it make?” about who did it. Four people were killed, that’s what! I say as several others do, there’s something fishy about this! Hopefully the mystery will be solved soon and justice done. The ambassador who died was a good friend of Hillary’s for gosh sakes! And this is all she has to say? Give me a break! People wonder why I can’t stand her. This is only more fuel to the fire so to speak.
What the hell? In 2012 there were an estimated 26,000 sexual assaults in the military! Obama is saying if anybody is found to be doing this they will be prosecuted, stripped of their positions, court martialed and dishonorably discharged. Easier said than done, especially by the Obama administration. It’s also reported that’s nearly 7,000 more than in 2010! I have only one thing to say on this. I have no idea if the majority of complaints were from women, but bring back “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
Potential Republican candidates are jumping on the bandwagon already for the 2016 presidential election. Iowa senator Rand Paul is hinting he will be running. As long as it’s not Hillary!
The One World Trade Center is now officially the tallest building in The U.S. at 1,776 feet. They finished putting the spire on top this week. I still don’t like that idea. In my book considering what’s been happening tallest = not good. If there’s an emergency on the highest floors how are firemen supposed to reach them? Sigh. Not my decision fortunately.
