Finally back with more on what’s going on out there. Actually I’ll start with what’s been happening here.  Having a good summer.  Day before yesterday I just finished putting Book 11 of “The History Of Spiritism” “The Book Of Gray Boar” together to copyright and put on the web site!  It’s going to be together with Book 12 “The Book Of Thundering Boar” which I’m working on now.  Progress! Ya gotta love it!  Now I have four more to go until my life’s Work is completed!  Two are quite a bit longer than the rest and I still need to scan those.

I have also started updating The Word Press template I purchased for it didn’t work out so I had to cut my losses and use a free one, which is actually the same one I use on The Spiritual Connection.  I’ve started adding the text episodes from 2002.  I’ve got my work cut out for me!  Anyway it’ll be so much better hopefully when it gets done as I will direct people there and there won’t be any pop up ads.

Now to the other stuff.  So shocked and heartbroken to hear of actor Robin William’s suicide!  I hadn’t heard about his depression before or that he had to sell off his homes.  I didn’t even know he’d had a drug problem in the past.  I think he’s doing ok.  Right after I learned he’d died I believe I heard him say “Look!  Look!  I can fly! And I don’t have any pixie dust!”  I hope I wasn’t mistaken about this and he’s having a lot of fun in The Afterlife, never to be that depressed again.  He is definitely missed.  Thank you for your time with us Mr. Williams!  You made a lot of lives a little better with what you’ve done for a long, long time to come.

Horrible news about all the violence in Ferguson, Missouri.  An on line friend I’ve talked to for years has been trying to make people aware this stuff has been happening for ages without very much results.  Only now are people paying attention with the unnecessary police killing of a black teenager which appears to have been in a definite unacceptable manner.  I hope and pray things will calm down soon and something will at last be done to stop police brutality in that state, and, everywhere.

For some reason The Supreme Court has temporarily at least come to its senses.  It has granted the request of a county clerk in Virginia to delay striking down the gay marriage ban the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond said would be struck down on the 21st.  That ruling was made in July.  They had said it would be done as soon as possible. If this had happened, out of state gay marriages would have had to be recognized there too.  The U.S. Supreme Court hasn’t explained why they have done this.  Let’s hope they don’t change their minds.

Looks like the Israeli forces are making some progress now towards its battle with Hamas in Gaza.  Hamas reported in a text message that three of its senior officials were killed in an Israeli air strike when a four story building was blown up, including three other people.  There are still people in the rubble.  We must remember, it’s Hamas the Israelis are attacking, they don’t want to kill Gaza’s civilians. Unfortunately Hamas members are using human shields rather they admit it or not. Godspeed to the people of Israel in defeating these inhumane terrorists.

In entertainment television news a new season of The BBC America’s “Doctor Who” begins August 23rd with older actor Peter Capaldi as the 12th regeneration.  It’s always awesome when an actual Who fan gets to play The Doctor.  Along with all the other greatness about the longest running sci fi series in world, this actor is another one like David Tennant who played the 10th Doctor that has a Scottish accent!  The BBC America has some interesting sounding new series on starting this fall. Hope you’ll check them out.

I want to add my brief review of the new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie.  It’s awesome!  I haven’t gone to the movies for some time then I learned I qualify for the $5.50 seniors ticket, so I’ll be going to matinees when funds are available and give my comments here.  Also I couldn’t resist and went to Pizza Hut for supper after the film which was also awesome. TMNT and pizza, definitely meant to be together, so to speak.  If I get a chance I’ll check out “Guardians Of The Galaxy.”
