Here we go again with more stuff from the national news. I don’t get it! Why is Obama saying now he can’t change Washington from the inside? It most certainly is the truth, however exactly what is the meaning behind this? Why is he saying this now, before the election? He’s saying only the people on the outside can change Washington! Duh! Doesn’t he want them to vote for him? I hate to admit it, but I love Romney’s speech on this where he says “We’re going to give him that chance in November.” Very creative! He has some good writers there. At least I don’t think he writes his speeches himself?
It was definitely a surprise! A British soldier in Afghanistan has given birth to a baby boy, and she didn’t even know she was pregnant! The Royal Artillery gunner started having stomach pains and next thing they knew Tuesday gave birth at Camp Bastion, the huge desert camp where Prince Harry is deployed and where two US marines were killed by the Taliban last week. Doctors say her demanding duties may have caused her to ignore the symptoms or because she was focused on other things, in a life or death scenario. Whatever, I’m so glad they’re ok. They will be sent home soon. This is a first for the UK. No British soldier has given birth in combat before, as they are not allowed to deploy if they’re pregnant.
As if there weren’t enough mysteries going on now there’s a Siberian Lake Monster! A lady who’s the Associate Professor of Biogeography, Lyudmila Emeliyanova, told a local newspaper that on her latest mission to Lake Labynkyr in remote Siberia her boat’s scanner picked up a huge reading that was too big for any fish or, school of fish. Also recently people using a fish scanner have discovered something alive 21 feet long in that lake! This lake is a little more than 3,000 miles from Moscow in what is known as the coldest place on Earth, and unlike the other lakes in the area it never freezes. Also, it has no plant life. This is a mystery, indeed! If there is a strange creature down there, what in the world does it live on? There is one story about a monster that looked like a huge bird showing up while a family was on the shore and grabbing a five year old boy in its beak. Ack! Sounds to me with the sonar proof something strange is going on. Hopefully nothing terrible will happen before everyone gets their answers.
As I am writing this message on Friday, a distraught man who says he’s lost everything has taken a hostage in a Pittsburgh office building on the 16th floor. They say he’s so far being rational and cooperating with police. His mother was brought to the scene and says she has no idea what drove her son to taking the hostage. Hope it turns out well but I have a bad feeling about it.
I don’t know what’s going on with this but in my opinion there was no need of it. In the Bronx a 19 year old Independence High School student student was attacked by students from High School For Environmental Studies which is housed in the same building as his, he was stabbed in the abdomen and died at a local hospital soon after. It was said his girlfriend was having an argument with another student’s girlfriend earlier and this may be the reason behind the attack. There were no witnesses and police are of course investigating.
Big deal! Our nemesis Lady Ga Ga is fat! Also, the little demon Miley Cyrus was seen smoking in her car. Who cares? Losers!
Wait! Speaking of Lady Ga Ga I heard from our old friends Kevin & Bean at KROQ that she’s in big trouble now with Muslims, and PETA, as at a recent appearance she wore a burqa with raccoon tails on it, including the veil, and carried a pink clutch bag with the “C” curse word printed on it! However, holy cow! Some PETE extremists are saying they’re going to attack Ga Ga for this, perhaps spraying her with paint or throwing feces at her! Hey, that’s even too much for them! However something has to be done. There’s free speech but this is ridiculous! She’s gone just a little bit too far, and also, PETA, too. I can’t imagine what our old friend The Prophet Muhammed is saying right now about Lady Ga Ga! Whatever it is it’s definitely not good.
