Back with more of what’s in the news. On the home front I’ve got a free lawyer for the elderly’s help and have the form to close down Gerald’s small bank accounts. She will help me fill it out on the phone Tuesday. Then later my caseworker will take me to Bangor to do the first part of this. I’ve taken over Gerald’s wireless internet account though I don’t really need it. He had a contract and I didn’t want to break it and pay extra to do that. I actually like it. So I’ll hang onto it as long as I can. Continuing to see the spirit of John Lennon once and a while, also George Harrison, and hear Gerald make little comments. The editing of the next Book in our History is going very well as a matter of fact I’m almost done! Hope to finish this project this weekend so next month it will be available to everyone on our web site at last. I’m sure Gerald and everyone over There is pleased with this news. Now on to the national stuff!
- Kind of scary the vice president of Chick-Fil-A has died of a heart attack Friday morning right when the whole controversy concerning the CEO’s stand against gay marriage is happening, At least he was standing firmly with the CEO’s opinions. Looks like the pressure got too much for him. Hope he’s doing ok in The Afterlife. It figures Democrat Nancy Pelosi states she prefers Kentucky Fried Chicken to Chick-Fil-A.
Also hope things get straightened out with Michael Jackson’s family. Now his mother has lost sole custody of his children. A Los Angeles superior court judge decided she cannot oversee the children because of the interference of others. She has filed to share custody with Michael’s nephew T.J. Jackson who is Tito’s son. She is still in charge of the $70,000 a month family allowance. I hope if she is able she can still watch over the kids.
Congratulations to China for winning the first Olympic gold medal this year on Saturday! And the winner is a young lady, Yi Siling, who got it for the women’s 10-meter air rifle competition. It’s so great that a woman won and, that she is from one of God’s most promising countries. So pleased to see the opening ceremonies went perfectly and were amazing!
A scary thought that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is headed for Israel on the campaign trail. At least he reportedly has a pro Israel stance, and says most Israelis are very suspicious of Obama. In my opinion that’s an excellent thing. He will also be visiting Britain and Poland. Watch out world, he’s on his way! On another note, the article on this stated Obama has not visited Israel since he’s been president.
