How crazy is the weather lately? Now there was a snowstorm in Southern California! We\u2019ll just have to wait and see how this turns out. Here in Maine we\u2019ve been having way below zero temps, almost like North Dakota! Crazy stuff! <\/p>\n
One good thing is President Biden is sending more help and weapons to The Ukraine a year after the war started. Now though yet another scary thing\u2026there may be a conflict with China, and someone is bragging about nuclear weapons! I pray they\u2019re never used!<\/p>\n
So great to hear that Alec Baldwin\u2019s had the charges against him lowered to involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins<\/a> on the set of the movie \u201cRust\u201d in October of 2021. They dropped the gun enhancement charge. However if convicted he\u2019ll still get 18 months. I hope things turn out for the better,. Last I heard they\u2019re supposed to finish filming the movie soon. Hope that goes well.<\/p>\n Lastly a kind of public service announcement. Contrary to a certain ad out there Amazon\u2019s Halo Band is the best fitness tracker for seniors. I bought the Fitnus brand that claims to be the best and I ended up throwing it in the trash. I could only get half the price I paid for it back and couldn\u2019t get it to work. I bought the Halo Band and it works perfectly and is amazing. It\u2019s also easy to use. Highly recommended<\/p>\n Another small caution is against the Anthem insurance company. I found out the hard way that alll of a sudden without any notice they can cancel a premium category, the extra thing you can choose on your plan. I lost my care giver services that way! I decided that was the last straw with that company and switched to Humana. I found out they have better services anyway, even if not the care givers.<\/p>\n There\u2019s just so many bad things happening in the world right now I get confused on what I should write about here. Hope you\u2019ll bear with me.
