What is actually going on with the world right now?\u00a0 A lot of scary stuff that\u2019s what!\u00a0 First\u00a0 of all southern California was expecting it\u2019s first hurricane in years to make landfall there, then while everyone was preparing for this emergency, they had an earthquake!\u00a0 Fortunately it wasn\u2019t a very big one, but lots of people were scared, and I don\u2019t blame them.\u00a0 Then there were those horrible devastating huge fires in Hawaii, destroying two entire towns leaving many dead and missing,\u00a0 many who were preparing to evacuate but didn\u2019t realize how close the fire was to them. The most horrifying to me was those trying to get away in their cars but were overcome by the flames.\u00a0\u00a0 Most of the victims\u2019 remains were just ashes, who the recovery people with help from cadaver dogs, were trying to find before any rain hit the areas.\u00a0 \u00a0It was said\u00a0 it\u2019s possible that many loved ones will never be found.\u00a0 These\u00a0 fires were supposedly caused by power lines that were knocked down by the strong winds they were having at the time.\u00a0 Now, along with this happening, there\u2019s been a bad hurricane\/tropical storm that hit Florida!\u00a0 There was a huge storm surge with this and devastating flooding.\u00a0 I\u2019m almost afraid to check the national news to see what disaster has befallen this country now!<\/p>\n
Well, former president Trump has been booked at an Atlanta, Georgia jail for over twelve felony charges, one of which is his attempts at overturning the 2020 Presidential election results in Georgia.\u00a0 This is considered a big criminal case, which is wide spread.\u00a0 He even had his fingerprints done and a mug shot was taken!\u00a0\u00a0 I just love the mug shot!\u00a0 It shows what a strong and determined person he is and is standing up for American justice!\u00a0 \u00a0As a matter of fact it\u2019s reported that since this was done President Trump\u2019s ratings have gone up in the polls at least a couple even surpassing Biden\u2019s ratings!\u00a0 Go Team Trump, go!\u00a0 Like it says under one copy of this picture made into a poster,\u00a0 Never Surrender!\u00a0 Oh, I think the news said his court date is some time in October.<\/p>\n
I can\u2019t think of anything else to report here except on the home front I have bleeding behind my left eye, so I was sent to a retina specialist who has given me some eye drops that will hopefully clear it up so I don\u2019t need surgery.\u00a0 I\u2019ve never had anything like this happen before, and no I haven\u2019t fallen for years.<\/p>\n
I guess this is all to report for August.\u00a0 Hopefully there\u2019ll be no disasters before I write here for next month!\u00a0 Until then stay safe! Oh and don\u2019t forget your flu shot!<\/p>\n
