Greetings!<\/p>\n
Back here in time before the end of the month for another report on what\u2019s going on out there.\u00a0 I guess a few of the main stories are these.\u00a0 The most important one is the US Government has been shut down for more than 25 days!\u00a0 For the first time that I can remember next month no\u00a0 food stamps will be given out until the government opens up again.\u00a0 They\u2019re telling everyone if they need to use the food pantries.\u00a0 Fortunately I have half of what I got this month and some left over from September to last me quite some time. Hopefully it will be long enough.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0However they\u2019re telling us that our social security income will be safe and on schedule next month.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m glad to see that Gaza is keeping its word and the remaining Israeli hostages are free and the remains of those who didn\u2019t survive are being returned as promised.\u00a0\u00a0 Prayers to their families and the victims that justice has been done on their behalf.<\/p>\n
Interesting that President Trump had one of the Civil War\u2019s Confederate General\u2019s statues put back up recently that was torn down in 2020.\u00a0 He wants to keep history being told the right way.\u00a0\u00a0 That\u2019s the way it should be.\u00a0 Now some people say the statues should be erected in museums and leave the open outside areas for the heroes of the winning side.\u00a0 Perhaps they\u2019re right, but it just seems like no one is ever satisfied.<\/p>\n
I was shocked last night to read on the internet that President Trump has ordered the military to go ahead with the testing of nuclear weapons for the United States.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 He says because all the other countries that have them are doing it!\u00a0 I guess it\u2019s called the old \u201cKeeping up with the Joneses\u201d reasoning.\u00a0 Very scary I must say to have this thing going on.\u00a0 Like I can\u2019t help wonder where are they doing this?\u00a0 What if something goes wrong and it causes grave danger to the people of The United States?\u00a0 Maybe that\u2019s what our enemies are hoping for and that we\u2019ll be destroyed.\u00a0 You can\u2019t trust almost anything nowadays!\u00a0 Let\u2019s hope they\u2019re extra careful with these materials and things keep going the way they\u2019re supposed to in this risky endeavor.<\/p>\n
Yes it\u2019s Halloween again!\u00a0 Originally the Spiritists\u2019 Thanksgiving to celebrate when they landed on Earth ages ago and made friends with the locals.\u00a0 Everyone forgets that originally kids dressing up in scary costumes at this time of year was very important as they as the story goes, were meant to scare away the demons from Those in their areas.\u00a0 How times have changed!<\/p>\n
More terrifying huge storms in the Atlantic!\u00a0 Category 5!\u00a0 This one is so strong the\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Storm Trackers\u2019 plane couldn\u2019t go through to investigate!\u00a0 Now that\u2019s scary!\u00a0 Stay safe and well everybody.<\/p>\n
There has been more flooding in New York City.\u00a0 Two people are dead from this and even the subways are flooded.<\/p>\n
On the home front I\u2019m attending a residents\u2019 Halloween\/Birthday for the month of October Halloween night.\u00a0 I\u2019m wearing a new black Hocus Pocus movie t shirt with a picture of the main characters on it, dark pants, my little sparkly purple witch hat, and I have my official \u2018wand\u2019 from the Harry Potter movies though I don\u2019t remember whose wand it was supposed to be.\u00a0 It\u2019s the one with the crystal handle anyway.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Should prove to be a wonderful, fun event!<\/p>\n
