    I just had to have another message for today because of some important news.  My 41st wedding anniversary is Sunday, June 2nd.  In honor of this I will be going out to dinner.  In honor of this special day I have also posted a new video featuring a very special song.  Here’s the link to it.  I hope you’ll enjoy it and share.

   Aside from this, my new keyboard is awesome!  I firmly believe this was a gift from Gerald and our friends in The Afterlife as I gave my old keyboard to my neighbor telling her it didn’t work, but she wanted to try to get it going and she did!  However a small problem. When my neighbor put the stand together he noticed the music stand is cracked through on both sides.  I emailed the company about this with some pictures thinking I’d probably get another music stand at least.  What should they write back, but that I will be sent another whole keyboard, stand and mic!  Wayfair is fantastic!  I highly recommend their web site at

   Now, on to what’s going on in the world.  Looks like Monsanto is in trouble over its head.  They apparently sold genetically enhanced or altered, whatever it is they do to stuff that’s bad, food to countries where it’s against the law to have it.  Now the battle is on!  These countries are refusing to buy from the US because of this and their budget is going down the drain.  I’m so glad! We don’t need all this ridiculous stuff in our food.   Looks like there’s an actual buyers’ strike after all and it’s working against the US government.  WOO HOO!
    More good news.  7,000 Starbucks stores have made it a rule that there’s no smoking within 25 feet of their store.  This starts June 1st.  The only ones this won’t be the case in are ones in stores such as Target.  Hey, isn’t it against the rules to smoke there anyway?  I don’t feel the least bit sorry for people who like to smoke while they’re drinking coffee.  I say keep it at home people.  And as far as that’s concerned just outside of your home.
    Poor little kids can’t have anything these days!  In Cleveland, Ohio there was a kindergarten graduation going on when someone spilled some punch. Two teenage girls started having a fist fight about it, then their parents started fighting! Police were called when one person pulled out a pipe and another a hammer.  The graduation was moved outside the school.  The people arrested were charged with aggravated rioting. There were ten patrol cars at the scene.  There were eight arrested, but more involved in the fight!  On the other hand that will sure be some story for the kids to tell as the years go by!  I can imagine some of them saying “I actually didn’t think I was going to make it to the first grade!”  What is wrong with people today?

     Now the first openly gay bishop is now elected to the Southwest Evangelical Church in America (ELCA)  Southwest California Synod.  This was during their assembly in Woodland Hills, California on May 31st.  He will be one of the 65 synodical bishops serving the denomination.  They say he was elected because he was the best person for the job, not because he’s a “partnered gay man.”  He is a native of Oklahoma, and is “an active member of the Osage Nation of Native Americans.”  It’s too bad that there’s always someone to spoil such a brave and proud people’s heritage.
