Greetings!

    Wow! This month has just flown by and it’s been so hot here I have barely thought about posting in my blog.  Not that much is different in the news to write about but I’ll try to put at least a couple of comments here. 
    Firstly, God blesses the three Americans and a Briton who prevented disaster on a high speed train carrying 500 passengers in France last weekend by tackling the terrorist who had an assault rifle and many more weapons.  Two of the men are in the US Air Force and National Guard.  Their friend was there to help, and a British businessman also.  They all met with the French President at the Elysee Palace on Monday and received Legion Of Honor medals.  There needs to be many more like this in the world. They are true heroes.
    Speaking of heroes, God praises one of His favorite bands The Foo Fighters.  On Friday, August 21st they were at Kansas City’s Sprint Center for a concert when they were protested outside by The Westboro Baptist Church.  The band got in a pick up truck and showed up at the protest playing an mp3 of Rick Astley’s<\/em><\/strong> 1987 song “Never Gonna Give You Up”.<\/em><\/strong>  They held up signs reading “You God Rick Roll’d Again” and “Keep It Clean”.  Dave Grohl lead singer of the Foo Fighters clapped along with the song and the fans were cheering.   The truck stopped in front of the protestors until the song finished.  I’m sure the so called church members were like “What the hell?”  If that’s the worst that ever happens to those people they’ll be lucky. 
    So glad to see Donald Trump is still going strong out there in the polls and everywhere!  Everybody loves how he goes against the grain of the usual presidential candidates and dares to say what he thinks.  I can’t wait to see if he will be Hillary’s competition for president!
    Speaking of presidents so sad to hear that former President Jimmy Carter has announced he has cancer in his brain and is undergoing treatment however apparently there’s not much hope for him and he expects he only has a few months left to live.  He has done a lot of good for people.  He has had a very good and full life.  Though not one of the Afterlife’s favorite people, he will be missed.
    There has been justice somewhat, in Jerusalem.  The man who stabbed a 16 year old girl to death at the Jerusalem gay pride parade this year has been indicted on a murder charge.  He is also facing several attempted murder charges for those he wounded.  What a loser!  Apparently he also stabbed several people at the parade in 2,005.  He had been freed from prison just a few weeks earlier for that crime!  Death penalty anyone?   Violence against homosexuals or homosexual supporters is not the way.
