A great way to start off today's message
congratulating Anthony Santoro and his wife June of Parkville, Maryland
celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on April 19th. they
have five children and fifteen grandchildren. They say the secret
to their long and happy marriage is dancing, They dance together five
times a week, four hours a night. Anthony who is 90, says he
thinks he loves his wife more now than when they first met. It's
so great that there's still some couples out there staying together for
a long time. Gerald & I will be celebrating our 40th wedding
anniversary on June 2nd. I thought that was a long time, 70 years
has definitely got that beat! I hope the Santoros have many more happy
years together. I love dancing! I wouldn't mind keeping up
that routine myself.
Now here's something else awesome. A young man
named Ramiro Saaverda, 27 from Peru, who plays guitar and
sings appeared on a Spanish t.v. show called "I Am". He can
sing almost like our good friend in The Afterlife, Kurt Cobain!
Here's the link to the article in The Huffington Post, and the videos
so you can judge for yourself. Of course no one can sing exactly
like Kurt as far as I'm concerned, but this is close enough! I
can't wait to find out Kurt's comments from Gerald later on.
Hopefully they'll be good ones.
Wow! Singer Neil Diamond recently got married for
the third time in Los Angeles to his manager, Katie McNeil. He is
71! Also he's getting ready to go on a cross country tour! Keep
up the good work! He has some great classic songs. We wish
him all the best with his marriage and the tour.
