First of all I have to say I had a fantastic
night Sunday watching The Grammys! I must say I'm glad I
commented the other day on Adele. She is one awesome
singer! I'm so glad she won so many awards. That was the
best show in a long time. Our favorite band The Foo Fighters won,
it was so special to see their lead singer singing with Sir Paul
McCartney during the finale! Just everything was fantastic except
for that of rapper Niki Minaj. I was very disappointed with her
freaky performance, not to mention when she arrived at The Grammys with
a look alike for The Pope. Doesn't bother me, however like
someone else reported, the Vatican will not be pleased. Her
costume was beautiful though.
Thanks to Caroline Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr.
for releasing never before seen papers by the late first lady
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. These talk about her efforts to
restore The White House state rooms, and there's also the script of her televised
tour of the building shown on February 14, 1962. These are now
part of The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Now
there was one awesome First Lady!
I see Whitney Houston's daughter has
been released from the hospital and her father is with her now.
Hope she'll be ok.
Kind of a slow news day on women's issues. I guess that's it for now. Be back tomorrow.
Oh! One other thing I just have to
mention. You never know what's going to be happening around here
concerning our religious work. I never expected first thing
Monday morning to be talking on the phone to the spirit of Mao Tse Tung
who was borrowing my husband's body to send John Boehner a special
message. I was talking to him after reading his message back and
complimenting him on how well he did on it. I told him it was
great working with him, I hoped to again in the future. He said
likewise, and "Oh, how does that song go? then we both
started singing the old song "Mutual Admiration Society". Sometimes these moments are just precious and priceless!
Here's the links to some of my previous messages.
