An Open Letter From Speaker Linda Polley
God's Candidate For The First Lady Of The United States In 2,012
To The World

Just a few comments today as I have been
busy and not had much time to put a longer message
together. Yep, I sat in my new plus swivel rocker, put my
feet up on the hassock I got at Goodwill Sunday night and
relaxed! I enjoyed watching The Academy Awards almost as much as
I did watching The Grammys! I usually am not familiar with most
of the movies out now however, I do hear about them all the time from
our good friends at KROQ in Los Angeles. I found several of
interest and wanted to know how they did with the awards. I
wanted to make sure to congratulate the movie "The Artist" for winning
best picture. I saw a great preview of this on one of the news
shows a while back and it looks great! Who'd have thought
that a new, not to mention black and white, silent movie would achieve
such an honor? Though we are at odds with Europe over several
issues, and the leading man in the film is from France, I believe also
either their director or producer too, this is amazing! Another
one I want to see some day. It was fun just to see all
these famous people in one place and having a good time. The only
disappointment was that the last Harry Potter film didn't do
better. I guess good ol' Harry's famous enough now.
I was pleased to see on Facebook that the author of
that someone says series JK Rowling, gave Harry his glasses in tribute
to our good friend John Lennon, because she's a big Lennon &
Beatles fan. Well, whatever, it sure worked to help bring the
good vibes pouring in to John every time the films came out, got people
thinking positive thoughts about him that helped keep The Afterlife
going. As they say, God works in mysterious ways to benefit His
people!
I thought it was a bit disturbing that a
movie from Iran won an award. However, I'm sure it well deserved
the honor.
Was surprised to see another one of my favorite actresses, Lucy Lawless, who played "Xena, Warrior Princess,"
was arrested in New Zeland. She is working with Greenpeace to
protest the oil drilling in Alaska. She climbed the tower with other
Greenpeace members on one of the oil drilling ships in port and stood
there with a protest sign. She was charged with several
offenses. She said she found it scary, not for sissies. I guess
not! The tower they stood on was 174 feet tall!
At least she wore a helmet. I guess it didn't help. The
ship still plans to leave port soon and do its job. Shell wanted to
have a productive conversation with Greenpeace, but the offer was
turned down. Shell was not pleased people put themselves in
danger for the protest.
Things have got to be bad when you read that Bill
Clinton has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize! All I've
got to say is why, God, why? One of the worst creatures of
Darkness in history who almost destroyed the Earth may get such an
honor? I'm sure God would say He had nothing to do with it!
On Twitter I'm a follower of Flo, The
Progressive Insurance Girl. Love those commercials! The
other day I was curious if her company carried Renters insurance and
asked her. Can you believe it she tweeted me right back and said
they sure do! She gave me a link to the web site page where I
could learn more about it. You gotta love modern technology, when
it works!
I just love the fact that people can communicate in
seconds now, send pictures and information instantly over cell phones,
the internet and such. Things may not be exactly like on "Star
Trek" but we're getting there, too fast. Like Gerald would
say we're getting so close to how his People on The Old Worlds did
things, it's scary. Somehow we're getting ahead of
ourselves. There are just some things The Afterlife knows about,
technology wise, that the human race is not ready to handle yet.
One step at a time!
