I was shocked to see in the news that
Shantelle Hicks, a fifteen year old girl who lives in Gallup, New
Mexico, was kicked out of Wingate Elementary School because she's
pregnant. This is actually against the law. The school then
asked her to come back, then made her stand up in front of the whole
school including employees at assembly in the gym, so she could
announce that she is pregnant and that the school employees thought by
doing this, she would be made a bad example to the other students who
said they hoped she would attend another school! This is just
unthinkable to me and not only illegal, also could be considered
harassment! Fortunately a lawsuit was filed on March 6th by the
girl who seeks punitive damages, for violation of constitutional rights
to equal protection and, the Title IX prohibition against sex and
pregnancy discrimination in education. I pray she wins and they
show those so called teachers the real meaning of equal opportunity in
education!
Looks like demon Miley Cyrus isn't getting the kind of
attention she wants with her controversial wardrobe choices, now she's
trying another tactic. People are apparently seeing her for what
she is. They're calling her anti Christian and some even wanting
her to go to hell after her tweet with a quote from physicist Lawrence
Krauss which includes "So forget Jesus. Stars died so you could
live." She's managed to squirm her way out of that mess, by sort
of quoting Einstein, something about science and religion. Still it
looks like her professional career is going down the tubes.
Serves her right for siding with open perversion.
The Kansas Legislature is considering a large
anti abortion bill which would make it so women seeking abortions even
rape victims, would have to pay increased sales tax on them. The
bill is 69 pages, and it also does not include any exemptions including
an abortion after sexual assault, or women who are at a health risk for
an ectopic pregnancy. It also would not exempt removing the
remains of a fetus after a miscarriage. Kansas has already made
it so abortions are removed from health insurance coverage. There
are some type of waivers available. There's more. I hope these
people come to realize this bill is a very bad idea, at the very least
in a bad economy to raise any kind of taxes. It's said that the
House can do nothing to stop the bill so many are hoping the more
moderate Republican run Senate will. I can't imagine even wanting
to consider such a thing. I will be keeping track of this to see
how it turns out.. Come on people, no, no, no! Women should
not be put in danger by those filled with greed.
