Greetings Rev. Spkrs. POLLEY:

I have just received the latest issue (July, 1997) of VOICES FROM SPIRIT.  THANK YOU for sending this my way, and another THANK YOU for having included my article Big City-Wide Country within this.
I also want to say that your zine is always interesting to me...as it continues to prompt my mind to spark with the catacombs of controversy with that of the topics of discussion brought out in your publication.  This is NOT to say that what is printed in your zine is false or so terrible to comprehend.  However, what is printed tends to touch on other areas whereby questions begin to form of what the articles project.
I agree.  Truth should be foremost...but in this day and New Age...it seems everyone is out there 'flaunting' truth...and soon enough everyone's truth becomes controversial and too complex to exist as one real truth.  As said, in the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, "We both have truths...are mine the same as yours?"  Its like, what is good and right for me could well be wrong and harmful to you..or vice versa.  However,  getting to your zine...I direct your attention to the article; A Spiritist Speaks About Tobacco (And mind you...I'm smoking a cigarette while writing this...and enjoying it.)  I will not deny that tobacco products do in fact are harmful to one's health...even baby foods are found to be harmful these days.  SO the question is NOT regarding whether tobacco is harmful to the smoker and/or non-smoker.  What I want to bring your attention to 'more so importantly' is that of reading;
'This means anyone that has anything to do with tobacco products from the people that grow it, to the people that sell it in the grocery stores; each and every one will suffer the pain and anguish that their victims suffer.
There is no prayer that will protect them, no ceremony they can perform that will keep them from this fate.
Those who will especially suffer are the executives of the tobacco companies who have known for years how damaging tobacco products are, and have tried to keep this information secret to protect their profits.  These men and women will especially bear the burden of what they have done to others.'
Now...although I am NOT Christian, I'd like to believe that the Holy Bible offers Truth of what is printed in 'that zine'.  If I'm not mistaken, from reading the Bible and from what the Christian priests tells me...'Those who come first may be last, and those that are last may come first.'
...and...'all sins are forgiven by the father by way of the son,' meaning that even at the very last moment of one's life, if you ask in Jesus' name to be forgiven of your sins they will be forgiven, and you can enter into the kingdom of heaven being forgiven and unblemished of all past sins...no matter what you've done on earth!!
Now...whoever this Spiritist be that speaks about tobacco, I'd like to ask of that Spiritist and of the Spirit realm...ARE THEY THE TRUTH?  ARE THEY THE FINAL WORD?  Are their truths THE SAME AS MINE?  ARE THEIR TRUTHS THE SAME AS THAT OF GOD?
Undoubtedly, I would go as far as to say....I sympathize with that Spiritist and the Spirit Realm, and 'especially YOU  NON-SMOKERS', that smoking is harmful to one's health (And I've lit up my 2nd cigarette...already), however, I cannot believe that the Spiritist and the Spirit Realm, is accurately truthful in asking that claim...being against the truth of The Holy Bible.  If this is so and they are truthful against what the Bible states, then you obliterate the entire Christian Faith in that...who's to know if forgiveness is ever possible, being dependent upon just how much one can sin and oh well...might as well change religions cause I can't get to heaven by  Christianity...especially NOT by Spiritist or The Spiritual Realm.
I also sympathize with that article in that there have been more murderous people in history who have done far worse in humanity...and in 'our mind'...not necessarily that that of God's...they should never be forgiven.  But WE ARE NOT GOD!!!  We cannot state that there is no prayer of forgiveness, not even to  the likes of Hitler, Khan, Stalin, etc.. for sure, to do so, would make them first, and we last, in the eye of God, certainly in the eyes of Jesus Christ.
I would appreciate it very much...if you would take this letter to that Spiritist and to The Spirit Realm..and address this topic of discussion a bit more in depth...a bit more 'TRUTHFUL'...being that of NOT man's judgment but of what is TRUTH to that of what we believe, is in fact, GOD.  I even suggest that you print this letter....and let your readership comment...on what is in fact...TRUTH...to that of forgiveness.
The 2nd item of mention in hour zine that took my interest...is that on the death penalty for Timothy McVeigh.  I won't comment pro or con on the death penalty, however...according to Paul Harvey, and that of the U.S. Military...even though McVeigh would very well get the death penalty for what he did, he is STILL ENTITLED...as a decorated honorably discharged military personnel...to a burial in any military cemetery and...with full honors!
NO judge or court of this land, can change that!  To do so would be much like that of God saying, oh, you're forgiven, but...in your case....
It will be 'most interesting' to see just where they will bury him.
