Another question I am often asked about Our Ancestors' star ships is, did they have holo decks? I'm afraid not. We had some great training simulators that could give you incredibly realistic situations, but nothing like the holo decks on the imaginary t.v. starships. We did have holographic projection devices, but they were small. The biggest screen was perhaps 6 X 6 ft. but these were only used for entertainment purposes, on ground stations. The circuitry was simply too delicate to survive the rigors of space travel. But viewing ancient scenes of historical events recorded thousands of years ago could still be quite awe-inspiring!
