POETRY SPACE
My soul aches the knowing time has taken him away never to return again Should I fade away? Gazing into skies above I sense a stillness there Acting out the visions dreams have taken me where Misunderstanding is only left to fade inside, my soul's crying out But, what more can I say Should I fade away? A soul, too cool to allow emotions to explode and overload Should I fade away Just tear out this throat? Another soul's confrontation seems to have left me blind to the memories I let....burn deep inside.... Where has all my love gone? Where have I turned wrong? I've been sitting here, awaiting for a soul, too bad to be strong Too many times I waited for a love to appear here Right before my eyes, what bets have been laid to rest.... Rainbow glowing tells me of a vision pre-captured long ago What more could I have done? for you, my rebel blue what more was left to show? Sitting by my evidence and notes taken down each night You'd committed a crime, worse than sinnin' You have abandoned the Light....
