Likewise also, it was in the days of Lot, they bought and sold, planted and built, but that same day Lot went out of Soddom and fire rained down from Heaven and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when The Son Of Man is revealed. In that day if a man is on the housetop and his cloak is in the house let him not go in for it. Let him that is in the field return not home.
Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, he who shall lose his life shall preserve it.
I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed, the one shall be taken, the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together, one shall be taken, the other left. Two men shall be in the field. One shall be taken, the other left."
They cried out to Him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Wherever the body is, there will the eagles be gathered together, the Chosen Ones Of Righteousness.
He spoke a parable unto them that men ought always to pray and not faint, saying, "There was in the city a judge which feared not God, nor, regarded man.
There was a widow in that city, and she came to him saying 'Avenge me in my adversity.' He would not for a while. But afterward he said within himself 'Though I fear God nor man yet this widow troubles me. I will avenge her, or by her continuous coming she will wear me down!'"
Jesus said "Hear what this unjust judge said. Shall God not avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless, when The Son Of Man comes shall He find faith upon the Earth?"
Jesus spoke this parable to certain ones that thought in themselves that they were righteous and despised others. 29 "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one, a Pharisee, the other a Publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed aloud, making much of himself. 'God I thank you, that I am not as other men, unkempt, unjust, adulterous, or even as this Publican.
I feast twice in the week. I give my tenth of all I possess.'
The Publican standing afar would not lift up his eyes unto Heaven, but struck his hand upon his breast, saying, 'God be merciful to me, a sinner.'
I tell you this man went down to his house justified where the other returned to his home as impure as when he had come."
When He said this the eyes of the Pharisees among them burned with hatred. They brought unto Jesus infants, that He might bless them, and little ones to sit on His knee.
When the apostles saw this they rebuked the people. But Jesus' anger rose hot against them. "Bar not the little ones. Let the little children come unto me, and forbid them not, for such is the Kingdom Of God.
Truly I say to you whoever shall not receive The Kingdom Of God as a little child shall, in no way, enter therein.
Of all the treasures that The Father gives us, these are the most precious of all. These are our hopes and our dreams. Unless you love as these little ones love, you cannot follow after me."
Now, a certain ruler asked Jesus "Good Rabbi, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"
Jesus answered, "Why do you call me good? None are good save one....God. Do you not know the Commandments?
Do not adulterize.
Do not kill.
Do not steal.
Do not make false witness.
Honor your father and your mother."
The ruler answered, "Teacher, I have done all these things from my youth upward. Never have I transgressed The Law."
Then truly I say to you," answered Jesus, "if your word is good, you will enter into Heaven. For any man that does these things Our Father will hold securely to His bosom.
But beware, if you are a hypocrite! For God's Judgment falls twice as hard on the hypocrite as it does the open sinner.
Some will tell you that God will judge even your evil thoughts. Think not that this is so. God knows the wickedness of your thoughts.
If you DO no evil the Father will love you no matter how much evil you may think of. But hear me well! When you DO evil, The Father's Justice shall be swift and sure.
For every deed a payment will be reckoned, for every blow ten will be given in return.
Do not think that you can escape your actions. A price will be paid.
But The Lord is merciful. If you repent your evil, begin down The Good Path, and do evil no more, then a Way will be prepared for you. You will find a Place Of Rest.
But know you well...you can fool man because man is foolish, but you can't fool God. His accounts are kept well, his accounts are kept very well, indeed."
Now, as Jesus finished speaking a messenger arrived from Bethany from Martha, Mary's sister, that her brother Lazarus was sick, evey dying. And if they were to see him while he still lived they would have to come quickly.
