Now, Thomas had been away and was not at hand when Jesus came. When the others told him all that they had seen and heard he believed them not.
Then, again, eight days later, Jesus appeared to them and said, "Peace be with you, always."
He went unto Thomas showing him His hands and put Thomas' hand under His robe so he could feel the wound. Thomas fell to his knees weeping, crying "My Lord! My God!"
Jesus caressed his hair saying "Thomas, because you have seen me, and touched me, now you believe and you are blessed.
Do not think that you are not, but even more blessed are those that believe without seeing, without touching. They are the most blessed of all."
And before Jesus departed Philip came to Him and questioned, "Lord, I love Demetrius. He is a man above other men. But why do You send those we love away with him to a foreign land? Why do You not keep them here with us?
"For the Hour is coming," Jesus answered, "when this wicked nation must pay for its sins as ALL wicked nations must pay for their sins. The women and the child will not be safe here. If they were harmed, my Father would not allow one seed of Israel to remain. He would destroy all of Abraham's generations utterly, leaving not one.
Therefore, those you love must be sent to a place where they will keep God's Way, so that what we have brought into the world will not totally pass away, that The Sacred Line Of David will never end.
Trust in the Wisdom Of God. Demetrius will never harm that that is good. His Power, the Power of his people, is only against the evil.
Warn all men. Have them beware. Let them follow in the paths of righteousness. Let them do no evil to anyone, for they would not like that which hunts the evil. For it will have no compassion or pity for them at all.
For The Father In Heaven gives unto them The Power to destroy not only that which is of the flesh, but they have the Power to destroy, also, that which is eternal.
Woe to him that forsakes The Way Of God. For those who are not of God, yet have Great Power will bring them to the reckoning of their deeds. None, I say to you surely, NONE shall escape what they justly deserve! So see you very well that you deserve nothing but good. For The Father would have you dwell with Him in joy, forever."
With this for a time Jesus left them.
Now, the same day as the resurrection, two of the disciples left Jerusalem for a village called Emmaus, which was about three score furlongs from Jerusalem. As they traveled they discussed what had happened, Jesus came among them but they knew not it was Him.
Jesus said, "What are these strange things that you speak of as you walk, and why look you so sad?"
One of them, whose name was Cleopas, answered, saying, "You must be a stranger to not know what has happened in Jerusalem these last few days. He who we thought was The Messiah, the hope of all Israel, has been crucified. Now they have stolen His body and we know not where they have taken Him."
Jesus asked him, "Tell me of these things," and Cleopas did so. When he was done Jesus shook His head. "Oh, foolish men!" He began. "Why are you so slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken? Did you not know this Jesus had to suffer these things to enter into His Glory?"
Why speak you so harshly of the priests and the Romans? They were but God's instruments, His tools to fulfill His Divine Will."
Then, He explained to them beginning at Moses and going through all the Prophets. He gave them all The Scripture concerning the things that He had suffered, and understanding filled their hearts.
They drew near to the village. Christ made as if He would travel on. But they begged Him to abide with them for the day was done, and He tarried with them.
They sat down to eat. He took the bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to them. Their eyes were opened. They knew at once who He was. In that instant He vanished from their sight.
In that very hour they rose up, returning to Jerusalem, found the Apostles, and told them all that Christ had taught them.
The disciples began to understand many things that He had said before.
While these were there Jesus appeared before them yet again, saying unto them, "Peace be with you!"
They were terrified and supposed that they had seen a Spirit. He said to them, "Why are you troubled, why do thoughts arise in your heart? Behold my hands and, my feet, that it is I, myself. Handle me, and see. For a Spirit has no flesh and bones, as you see here.
Demetrius knows of Spirits, and he will tell you a Spirit I am not."
He showed them His hands and feet. They touched Him, and they believed with great joy, but still wondered.
He asked them, "Do you have anything to eat?"
They brought Him some boiled fish, bread, honey cakes, and a cup of wine. He took them, ate and drank as He continued to speak with them.
"These are the words which I spoke to you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in The Law Of Moses in the Prophets, and in the Psalms concerning me."
Then they began to understand all that He had taught them.
"Thus it is written, and thus it beheaved Jesus to suffer and rise from the dead the third day. That the repentant and remiss of sin should be preached in His name among nations.
