An Old Fashioned Christmas

Got a rather ludicrous comment. "If you go to Iraq to judge Hussein what would  you be asking to do so, twenty million dollars?  That's all you're after, right, money?  That's the only reason you're making the offer."  Well, where this would be a religious duty all I could ask would be room and board in Iraq.  Our religious Law would not permit me to take anything else.  Oh, perhaps a little spending money so I could buy a soda or a candy bar  now and then, but I could not charge for these services at all.  Of course while I was gone the government would have to replace my income at home.  My wife would have to receive a check for $270 a week and be supplied with a ride each week so she could do the banking and get her groceries and such.  And as I cannot write I would have to have someone in Iraq to assist me with correspondence, but I'm quite sure someone performing such a duty as this would have a considerable staff anyway, and someone could be made available to help me correspond.  Then there would be the small matter of clothes.  Literally everything we have is falling apart.  To perform this duty I would need three black monk's robes with hoods.  They would have to be made of 100% cotton, no synthetics.  I would have to be properly attired for such a mission.  Aside from that that would be about it, I don't think a very unreasonable salary request for such a responsibility.
Jesus has been approached by many asking for clemency for the homosexuals of The Anglican Church in New Hampshire, that they not be the only people in the world to receive God's wrath Christmas Day.  Jesus was actually considering such a clemency but unfortunately we received several hateful emails after our last mailing on this subject calling us insane and hate mongers.  Jesus has decided that no clemency will be granted, and has said that if such a thing happens again He may increase those receiving God's wrath, as those in New Hampshire will definitely be overloaded, there is a surplus waiting for those who despise God, plenty of wrath to go around.
Speaking of wrath to go around, we have lost another Anglican congregation that has asked to be removed from our mailing list.

The Rt. Rev. Percy Coffin requests removal from our address list.

A bit of happy news today.  Old Blue Eyes is back! Since returning from the Los Angeles dead zone Frank has been busy entertaining  and comforting those trapped in limbo unable to enter The Kingdom Of God because of the war between it and The United States.  But he was so happy about the upcoming Christmas joy he wrote a new Christmas song  especially for the occasion.  It's been an instant hit in The Afterlife!  John Lennon and his group Beatles & Friends have been singing it at every performance.  Linda mistakenly thought it was one of John's new songs when she picked it up.  But it's pure old Sinatra!  Hope you enjoy it as much as Those in The Afterlife are!  Here's the lyrics.

(These lyrics removed at the request of Frank Sinatra.)

   MONUMENTS ON THE OLD WORLDS

Somebody asked an interesting question a while back that got lost in the shuffle.  "All around the world people like to put up monuments.  Did the people of The Old Worlds carry on this practice?"  Did They ever!  Haven was covered with monuments!  Every building was dedicated to one hero or another, or commemorated some historical event!  There was a statue or an engraved plaque outside of or on everything!  It was an absolute passion with The Haven People, which wasn't really a bad thing, because most of the people were being honored for doing good things for the general public.  It was a profound sadness that when Haven was destroyed at the beginning of the final conflict that lasted five thousand years, all of this beauty, all of this honor to so many was destroyed with it.
The Hashons also loved monuments.  And there were many commemorating Their vast history.  Unfortunately during the Haven occupation many of these monuments were stolen by The Havens and sold as works of art, and were on Haven when it was destroyed, except for some that were hidden for the five hundred years that Haven ruled Hades.  These were saved when Hades was destroyed,  taken out into the colonies.  It is always hoped that some of those colonies survived, and are out there somewhere, that part of this extensive beauty still exists.
The Peepians also loved monuments!  Again just about everything was dedicated to somebody, especially to Lord Change.  They made a tremendous effort to recover as much of their art as they could after The Holocaust and Their museums were filled with things of exceptional beauty that were once parts of monuments.  When the final struggle began much of Their art, too, was taken out to the far colonies, and it is hoped that some of it managed to survive.  So much beauty was destroyed because of the hate and greed of The Holy Godden Empire. It is a sad thing to even contemplate, and it is something that we do not want to happen here on Earth.  One thing that is enraging Those in The Kingdom Of God is that when archeological sites are found proving the existence of Ancient Israel, The Palestinians are destroying them because they claim Ancient Israel never existed.  The sickness of The Empire still exists in the hearts of men, and that sickness must be eradicated so that things of beauty are not destroyed by the ignorant who do not want their lies exposed.  The ways of The Empire must disappear!
