As soon as Sam Houston got the assignment for Texas he went to Johann Sebastian Bach and said "I want a real Texas fight song, something that every Texan will know is from another Texan. I want them to know that We're gonna fight with everything We've got! We're gonna kick and bite and punch!" Johann looked at him wide eyed. "That's very good!" he said. "How about this?" In a few minutes they had the song below, and Sam said "That's it! That's precisely what I want! Thank you!" Johann's getting good! He's gettin' really good, almost as good as John Lennon!
