President Roosevelt's Endorsement

Having served in the Presidency myself, during a time of horrendous conflict when the very survival of civilization stood in the balance, I can well understand what President George W. Bush is going through as he struggles with the affairs of state today. I am a tremendous admirer of the effort that he has put forth and I believe every American should be, also. Any people that are living in The United States and do not support The President in this noble cause that he is fighting should not call themselves Americans, they should call themselves traitors. For they would sell out the world, betray everyone for their own petty self interests, and no true American would do that.
In the midst of war it is foolish for a country to give up good and strong leadership for very questionable leadership. I do not think the American public will be foolish enough to do so. I think the majority of them will stand behind President Bush, and support him so he can continue to carry on the struggle to secure not only America's safety, but the safety and the well being of the entire world. In this effort I give President Bush my full and complete endorsement, and I ask every American to vote for him, and to support his policies.

President Truman's Endorsement

It is with the deepest joy and admiration that I give my full and complete support to President George W. Bush's reelection effort! I have watched a man make the hard decisions that I had to make in my Presidency. I watched him recognize the enemy and go after the enemy, and remove that enemy from world affairs. This can be called nothing but courageous in today's world with it's do nothing attitude and hope it will go away. A President who makes the hard decisions should be supported by the people. There are many issues in this campaign that are divisive, but I do not see any that are of such concern that President Bush should not be reelected, and I am in sincere hopes that the majority of the American people will agree with me, and bring President Bush to an overwhelming victory, for his courage should be praised by all.

And A Proud American

FINANCIAL REPORT
As we don't know if there will be a magazine next month we'd better give the old Financial Report!  Thanks to Jimmy Kimmel and staff it's a little bit better this year.  Personally we took in $16,935.75.  Our personal expenses were $11,704.44, which on paper, gives us a surplus of $5,231.31.  But this is deceiving, because we owed about $4,000 on our credit card from last year for medical expenses, which doesn't go into this year's expenses but had to be paid.  Actually the old checkbook only has a little over $1,000 in it.  But that's a lot better than in past years.  Of course I've got to go to the dentist and have a crown put on.  I've lost so much of one tooth it simply won't hold fillings any more.  So that's going to be cut down quite a bit.
Voices From Spirit Magazine took in $810 in donations this year!  We spent $1,633.56, which leaves us a deficit of $823.56.  Not bad!  Voices was never intended to make a profit only spread the word.
Well, that's about it for this year!  Doing a little bit better.  Hopefully it will continue.  One of these days a publisher is going to knock on the door and we'll be able to really give a financial report!
