Spessard L. Holland's Endorsement

There sometimes comes a time when men of honor must stand back and look at what their associates are doing and say "Whoa! Wait a minute! Things are being done here that are simply unacceptable! Perhaps they are being done in the name of kindness, in the name of fairness, in the name of social equality. But they should not be done." Some people in the state of Florida are now doing such things. They are promoting things that are endangering the children of Florida, they are asking people to accept things that a decent society should never accept. In the name of liberty and free speech, some things have gone way too far! I am a strong advocate of state's rights, I always have been, I will always continue to be. But in the name of state's rights we cannot support things that will destroy our children! Many of the politicians of my era mistakenly believed that a certain population, for the good of the rest of the people, should be oppressed, controlled, and not being given the same liberties that other people should be given. I have to now admit that that belief is wrong! Now that idea is being used to support something totally unacceptable, totally inappropriate, that has nothing to do with race, that is not a religious belief, but is confirmed by The Rulers Of Heaven a sickness that no man should engage in, and no woman should accept.
I find myself turning against those I once supported and saying "This can go no further! This has to be stopped!" I find that in all good conscience I must support President Bush. I must recommend to the people of Florida that they vote for him, that they reelect him, because the alternative is unthinkable! Those who oppose him, to gain power, will do unspeakable things, allow unspeakable things to be done to children to get a few votes to help them win. This cannot be endured! Honorable men cannot accept this! I am a father, I have children and I do not want to think of their children being sodomized, of their children's Souls being destroyed. I must ask the people of Florida, in good conscience, to reject the Democratic party, to reject their candidate, and to continue rejecting them until they drop their support of this sick and disgusting so called lifestyle. I ask the people of Florida to rise up and say in one voice "No! We will not sell our children! We will not give them away for political power! We will not lose them forever, to make John Kerry President of The United States! Enough is enough!"
I hope every Floridian will answer my call and say "No way!" to Kerry, "No way!" to sodomy. God be with you!
