We're losing one of our heavy hitters for a while. George
Harrison
is withdrawing from public life. He will still do some regular
concerts
with Beatles & Friends, but he's not going to be doing the
impromptu
balcony sessions that are so popular with the public.
On our last trip to Hollywood there was an incident that made him worry
about
how much damage the drugs had done to him. Then the carnage of
the
fighting in Iraq really disturbed him. The ferocity of the
demons,
and the fact that there is no way they can be saved, that they are all
doomed,
bothers George tremendously.
Mary, Queen Of Scots, who George has been serving as her Official
Comforter,
or, Consort, whatever you want to call him, is also withdrawing from
her
duties for the time being to spend time with George until he feels
better.
This is not an unusual circumstance, it's nothing out of the
ordinary.
Those recently departed often do this for a year or two, until they get
adjusted
to The Afterlife. It's usually called a person's quiet time, or,
private
time. George never got this time. As soon as he arrived in
The
Afterlife and found out what was going on he immediately made an effort
to
help by dictating "Wow! (The Things I Found In The Afterlife!)"
He
is really disappointed that after putting out all that effort those who
promised
to publish the Work have not done so. Like many he feels betrayed
by
the living, that they have forsaken him because they don't want to hear
the
truth.
Hopefully George will come back in a short time. Thank goodness
he's
still working with Beatles & Friends, at least for regular
concerts!
The public would be devastated if he quit completely. But there
is
still going to be a drain on our already limited resources. But
we'll
make do, we always do.
