Letters On Site

Below is a letter Gerald sent out Thursday to The Veterans Of Foreign Wars requesting their endorsement for his Presidential campaign.

I'm Speaker Gerald Polley, a candidate for The Presidency. Here is a link to my web site.

I sent you greetings on Veterans Day and have a speech to the veterans on my site. I was appalled by the Republican debates, where a candidate was saying that he wanted to withdraw from Iraq and turn it over to the fundamentalist that has murdered thousands of our soldiers! Also, that a former general stood up and encouraged that the army become sodomized sickened us! These things must be opposed, and I do not think that the current candidates will oppose them. They will give lip service to it but they will not stand fast. I believe I am the candidate that will support our troops and, our veterans. I need to get on the ballot, I need to get into the news. People need to hear what I am saying. We cannot abandon The Middle East! We cannot forsake our friends! We cannot create a base for the terrorists from which they will terrorize the world! I need your help. I need the help of every one of your chapters. You have a candidate that will fight for America, that will fight for our troops, who will see to it that they have everything they need and will try to help their famillies at home. I need your support now. I need the support of every one of your members. If we lose we lose everything! Now is the hour for decision, now is the hour for action. I ask in God's name for your support.

A Candidate For The Presidency

There are lots more available, many that haven't been in our emails now on the campaign site. From now on as we send out more they will go up there and we'll refer people to their addresses.

We were watching the Kevin & Bean special webcast and Gerald was so envious of the guys with long hair! But his scalp problem makes it absolutely impossible for him to grow his hair out. As a matter of fact to keep the condition under control he should be shaving his head at least once a week, but can't afford that. Has to have Linda use the good old clippers every three weeks or so. Guys who can grow out their hair don't know how lucky they are!
In Saturday's "Here's Jesus!" we feature two questions from June, 2,003, "Will people be forgiven no matter what? Is what we say what The Bible says about this?" and, "What can be done to keep the Work going now our Work caused an afterlife blackout?" Scary but very important information! Don't miss it!

Well, we know our emails are getting through! Gerald got the nicest little note from the office of one city manager that he wrote to, saying they were terribly sorry, everybody in the office loved our web site, but the city managers' uniforn code of ethics did not permit them to support political campaigns. Boy! Things must've considerably changed! Because back in Maine where Gerald comes from, if any candidate on the ballot didn't have the support of the city managers in the state his effort was doomed! He simply couldn't get elected! Things must be different in other states.
Gerald's been busy emailing to communities again! He got 10 cities in Utah, 41 emails, 10 in West Virginia, 56 emails, 10 in Louisiana, 41 emails, 10 in Washington state, 41 emails, 10 in Maryland, 42 emails, 10 in Virginia 51 emails, 10 in Wisconson 78 emails, 5 in Hawaii, 23 emails.
We're really having problems with the neighbors! We can't breathe when they're doing the laundry, the fumes get so bad in our apartment! They overload the washer, use far too much detergent, and then overload the drier and overload it with fabric softener, and that result, to put it mildly, is, we can't breathe! The landlord is trying to reason with them but they're people you can't reason with. God is still wishing we could find sponsors and spend Christmas and New Years in our new apartment in Hollywood. But of course that's an impossibility. But we don't know how much longer we're going to be able to stay here. It's simply getting unbearable! It's really making Gerald sick. And to make matters worse, we can't keep our air machine going! It cost almost $200 and started acting up a week after we had it. We have to clean it constantly. Of course that's not the machine's fault, it's the contamination it's working in. But we just wish it would stay on! We need it!
