One Victory, One Defeat
Gerald's still mad about the guy from Lawrence, Massachusetts that says he's going to shut us down because we're emailing to cities' mayors, and councilmen. He says it's against the law but he won't give us a link to a statute. Gerald has kept right on emailing! He got 10 cities in Rhode Island, 40 emails, 10 in Texas, 76 emails, 7 in Vermont, 20 emails, 8 in Mississippi, 23 emails, 10 in Pennsylvania, 36 emails, 10 in Indiana, 18 emails, 10 in North Carolina, 30 emails, 10 in Nebraska, with 23 emails. But this guy in Massachusetts must really be terrified of us! He definitely does not want people hearing what we have to say! He said he was going to go to the media and tell them what kind of a person Gerald was, that he was violating the law. We told him to go right ahead! The more he attacks us the more people he'll bring to us. The idea that an American citizen is prohibited from contacting a member of a local government anywhere for any reason deeply disturbs Gerald! The right to contact our public officials is one of the fundamental American rights, and no government agency should interfere with it! It is up to the officials, themselves, if they want to end the contact or continue it. The government has no right to deny access to any citizen, no matter what his cause! This is something that's definitely going to have to be worked on.
Gerald was disappointed Sunday morning. He couldn't email to the town where President Bush's ranch is located, Crawford, Texas, as the town doesn't have a web site.
Sunday Linda emailed to 41 Native American tribes and organizations in several states including Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticutt, Wyoming, Michigan, Florida, Alabama, Alaska, and California. Only about 10 didn't go through. The letter has been put up at the web site. Unfortunately a lot of the tribes didn't have email, only fax service. We may have to get a fax ready, get a list of the numbers and head to Staples again, unless we could get some caring person somewhere to copy the letter from our web site, print it out, look uup the numbers, and put their fax machine to work. We can dream! Here's the address to the letter on our site.
We took a break, however, Sunday and went over to the Catholic High School for their Christmas concert which was an absolute delight! God The Father and God The Mother came out of The Holiest Of All. These children performing give Them tremendous energy! In the middle of the performance they had a steel drum band that was playing Carribean music and God The Father and God The Mother, to Everyone's absolute delight, started dancing! Everybody in The Kingdom Of God was absolutely delighted to see Them enjoying Themselves so much! It raised the energy in The Kingdom Of God to a tremendous extent. Everyone just can't believe that we can't get this campaign going. The energy is just so phenomenal! We can't understand how the creatures of Darkness can continue to resist. The power flowing back into the material world is awesome! Everyone keeps saying something's going to happen soon, we're going to get a breakthrough soon. Let's hope They're right!
In Monday's "Here's Jesus!" we have a question from June, 2,003, "What are Your comments on Canada soon having same sex mariages and what can someone do if they disagree?" and in segment 2 a new one from our friend Lorn, "Is the act of prostitution a sin or is it the industry's results that make it a sin?" Like we always say, the great stuff keeps coming! Feel free to send more questions everybody!
Unfortunately, The Kingdom Of God could do nothing about the sham that was called an election in Russia. Putin stifled all competition, shut down the opposing parties, jailed their supporters, and stole their property. If Gerald was president he would not recognize this election. He would not consider it valid. When a dictator takes over a country, produces sham elections and calls it a mandate from the people the American government must stand up and say that this is unacceptable. Putin has destroyed democracy in Russia, in his greed to stay in power. His farse must not be recognized by the American people. Those who have been imprisoned must be released, their property that has been stolen must be returned to them. Newspapers, radio stations and t.v. stations must be allowed to function again. Then, after a proper period of campaigning an election can be held where the people have an opportunity to hear the issues and select the candidates. But The United States should never recognize this so called Putin mandate.
We're glad to see Gillian Gibbons, the British teacher in Sudan who was jailed for naming a teddy bear Muhammed has been released from jail. The Kingdom Of God believes the situation got way out of hand, it shouldn't have gone as far as it did. Those demanding her execution over such a trivial matter should've been arrested and prosecuted! Such senseless hatred must be stopped, and those teaching it must be removed from positions where they can influence the public. You don't kill someone for naming a teddy bear Muhammed. Muhammed considered it quite a compliment, that a symbol of love and affection was given his name. We wish we had time to produce a little cartoon of teddy bears being oppressed by cruel lizards and suddenly have Muhammed ride in on his great white war horse and drive the invaders away! Unfortuantely we don't have time to do the things that we're doing, let alone anything fun! But if somebody out there would like to take the idea and run with it, Muhammed would give them his blessings.
